Monster! #34: Winter 2019

You certainly get a lot for your money in this publication. This is certainly not a quick read.

I have found that many "fanzines" sold on Amazon leave much to be desired in terms of content. That is, you really don't get much for your money. In the age of the Internet with an almost endless supply of free information, you better put something out that rises above "average". Monster! magazine does that in spades. This issue is THICK. Hundreds of pages. GOOD pages. A great mixture of graphics and research that I found both informative and entertaining. They really set the bar with this issue.

Monster indeed! Every aspect of monster cinema examined in a variety of articles, approaches and voices. The sort of book-a-zine that you can pick up at any time and find something to gab at. Could do with a bit more editing at times, but it's a glorious, self-indulgent, geeky, idiosyncratic celebration of monster media. Buy it now!

Perfect for on the go reading. I took this to work and it kept me busy on my breaks and any short personal time I had. With a huge variety of monster/creature features, this is a large issue with a different article on almost every page, full of information on some of your favorite fictional creations along with plenty you may not have heard of and keeps you entertained. Definitely worth the purchase if your interested in cinematic monster madness!
