My New Kitchen Sidekick
As someone who loves using fresh coconut in cooking along with raw eating, having a tool that makes getting that meat out a breeze has been awesome. Much better than a butter knife
This tool is great. much sturdier than butter knives that I used to use & don't have to worry about bending it. Like that it is not super sharp, that I don't have to worry about slipping & cutting myself. Just enough of a rounded edge to wedge between the the coconut meat & shell. I do this in several spots & large chunks of coconut pop out, making the job so much easier than the way I did it before.

Does it make it easier?
The grip is nice, easy to hold while using it, and it does help a little with getting the coconut out of the shell. But don't buy it thinking its going to make it a breeze. It still takes some effort separating the coconut, but it definitely makes it a tad easier.
