Thyme Herb Seeds- Common- Heirloom Variety- 500+ Seeds

I had read that thyme is difficult to grow from seed, but decided to give it a shot anyway. Besides, with 500 seeds, I could try again and again, so I purchased these seeds.Ohio Heirloom is by far my favorite seed supplier. They have incredibly high germination rate and the product is always exactly what you've ordered, with no cross-pollination varieties arriving at your door.These seeds germinated nicely and are growing happily in my garden. They are slow to grow, but so many germinated that I know I will always have plenty on hand.The seeds arrived quickly and I am very satisfied with this product and this company.

Great little seeds and wonderful communication from the seller. There were no instructions on planting so I sent him an e-mail. I'm glad I did. The planting directions were a little different. The seeds germinated quickly. I've got them in a window with partial shade so we'll see how it does for the winter. I'm trying to have a window herb garden. So far, so good.

I'm having 0% germination rate for these seeds. Is there some trick to growing thyme?I planted these 2-3 per pot during various times of the year under various conditions. Nothing worked. I was going to plant them by my bee hives so that my bees could pollinate. :(

Takes about a month to germinate but once it does takes off pretty quick

Very happy with my purchase. I bought the seeds a while ago and I do remember they came quickly, but I didn't write a review because that doesn't say anything about the seeds.I have an Aero Garden in Chicago, and planted the seeds and they grew and I have a good plant. I can't wait until summer since I will have a few in my garden that I start indoors.

These sprouted in 3 days in my peaty greenhouse kit. I put 3-5 seeds in each pellet, and I have 3-5 sprouts in each now. 100% germination! Not sure how well they'll transplant, or if they'll continue to be successful until they're ready for transplant, but great so far. Additionally, this is the only place I've ordered from where they actually give you as many seeds as they say!

Planted a few and I got 6 . Planted some more almost 2 weeks ago I'm waiting for the results

Due to Covid-19 I have been buying more seeds this year (tomatoes, squash, basil, rosemary, peppers, beans etc... you get the idea) for the most part the seeds I have bought online grow, these have not. Only a couple of seedlings came up which I am being very careful with these because I know once establish thyme grows really well in CA. I had wanted to use it as a ground cover for empty spaces in the herb garden but since not much grew that isn’t happening this year. I’ll try again next year.
