So happy to have this shackle hitch combo!
I just got a new AWD SUV and wanted a hitch shackle for this winter season. I’ve always had good luck with Curt products before and was happy to find this. The price is excellent and the included shackle with it is great.The high weight rating is great. I have no fear using it when/if needed. The steel seems very strong and sturdy. Curt makes solid products and this seems to be no different.Be sure to tighten your shackle bolt securely and use a method to secure/seize it. I put Loctite on the threads and cranked it down tight. I also used a zip tie to hold the pin temporarily. So be sure to use something, or your shackle can work loose over time.

Used this once already. Super easy to use. Just drop in a pin (sold separately) and you are good to go. Must have if you are a truck owner.
