Looks nice - not really secure
These look nice and they work to a point but for the money they are not worth it. I bought 3 for gifts, but ended up returning them, and spending the extra 10 dollars for a safe with a unique key and electronic key pad.The "combination" lock is fake, since you simply turn it to a single designated number to open it. You can't change the number either. All the safes had the exact same key, so there was no unique security there either. They look good, and the paint is nice, just expensive for what you get. It's mostly useful as a decoration and maybe a piggy-bank. My kids wanted them to protect their "loot" (money and candy) from their siblings. They weren't going to work for that.

She's Happy
My own mother actually gave me one of these several years ago and I still use it today. It's not really that secure by any means but it's a fun and cute piggy bank of sorts. My daughter is the biggest girly girl ever and she loves being able to put her money in the coin slot, unlock it, get the money out and do it all over again. She loves getting to add money to it so it's a great encouragement for her to save. Would buy again.

Anyone can get in - lock is only 2 digits
You can get into these "safes" by gently pulling on the door and just turning the combination lock until it opens. There is no security at all. For example, my son's combination was 60 (cannot be changed) and I can just gently pull on the door with my eyes closed and turn the mechanical lock. When it gets around to 60, the door pops open. It's actually not a "combination" lock because it's only a SINGLE number, NOT a combination of multiple numbers that need to be turned to consecutively. They should not be using the word "combination" in the title.

Sturdy for two eight year olds
Originally my twin girls wanted to get a safe they saw at a local department store, but it was half the price and very flimsy plastic. We talked about this one and they are SO happy with their decision to each buy one for the other on their eighth birthday. So far they use them every day and still going strong!

MY KIDS LOVED THESE LITTLE LOCKERS
MY KIDS LOVED THESE LITTLE LOCKERS, ITS JUST ENOUGH TO MAKE THEM FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH THEIR ALLOWANCES BEING IN THEIR ROOMS. A LITTLE BIT SMALLER THAN EXPECTED BUT A GOOD SIZE FOR A KID.
