Amazing information and product
Product is intact and looks brand new despite being second hand. Thank you so much to the seller on the prompt sending of this package and for the condition of this item. The book itself has great information on topics related to surgery. Would make a good supplement to text books and the cases are great for learning and tying concepts together! Great book!

Good Prep for the Shelf Exam and an easy read
I am a big fan of the Case Files Series, having read OBGYN case files for the OBGYN clerkship as well. This book was easily digestible and clearly presented the information within. I was able to sneak a case in here and there between surgeries and tear through it on 24 hour trauma calls. It is broken down into sections so you can use it as prep for subspecialty rotations if you have them. The questions are also good primers for exam prep. For quality reference: using this book, Pestana's, and UWorld I beat the nationwide 3rd quarter NBME surgery shelf exam average.

... PA-S end of rotation exams and it was a fantastic book! it had everything I needed to know
Used it to study for PA-S end of rotation exams and it was a fantastic book! it had everything I needed to know. I would highly recommend it to any PA-S out there looking for a way to steady for EORs.

Not New
I thought I was purchasing this book new, and it came shrink wrapped. However, the pages are marked up and the quizzes are pre-filled.

Full of Mistakes
I'm at the 10th case and have found a large number of errors already. It's very frustrating to try to go through and fix grammatical errors, question/answer errors, etc. while attempting to study. One of the answers didn't even correspond with the question that was asked. Sometimes the same sentence is written twice in a row. Whoever did the editing on this book did an atrocious job.
