The Ultimate Kids' Guide to Being Super Healthy: What You Need To Know About Nutrition, Exercise, Sleep, Hygiene, Stress, Screen Time, and More Review: Kid-Friendly, Engaging, and Informative - My 6 year old tends to question household habits like, "Don't go to bed too late," or, "You need some more protein/vegetables, etc." She's perfectly willing to go along as long as she knows why, and I realized I only had a vague understanding of why. This book was perfect for teaching both of us exactly why she needed to cut down on sugar (and screen time), eat more fresh produce, and go to bed earlier. The format was digestible and she enjoyed listening to me read the information. The author's tone was very engaging and informative. Highly recommend for those with 6 year olds and older! Review: It was interesting and helpful. - Helpful to planning meals for a seven year old that only likes one food at a time. I was able to get some better proteins and fruits and veggies into his diet. He was not real thrilled with book at first but started showing interest when I explained this would help him to leap further in a single bound.

For older, independent readers
I bought this to read aloud together with my 7 and 9 year old daughters. The book is very informational, but is written in a way that it’s best for an older and independent reader (probably 5th grade and up).

Must Read
Words from the infamous Dr. Nina Shapiro herself! She is one of the most respected pediatric otolaryngology surgeons in all of Southern California and beyond, revered by her peers, and held in high regard by her patients and staff. Here in this little book is a world of wisdom and knowledge to help guide you through raising healthy kids.

Good resource book
I needed a book to help me teach health. This book gives me enough information to plan the activities and give the information needed to the students. The book uses language that kids can relate to.
