Silicone Peri Bottle/Portable Bidet/Portable Lota - Orange

Purchased this a year ago because I got tired of UTI's. When you get older they seem to occur for a variety of reasons and I wanted to eliminate the most obvious. The item is simple - a very soft high-quality silicone bottle which holds about 18 ounces of water, and has a push/pull stopper. Very easy to use, even for arthritic hands. I can't say it cuts down on paper usage, for you are taking a mini "bath" and consequently need to use paper to dry off. But you feel so much cleaner and once you get into the habit you won't want to be without it. Plus, it rolls up easily (that's what the picture shows - it's rolled up and is secured by an attached band) so is packable.This is an item that would bring welcome relief for anyone with hemorrhoids (sp?), for women during monthly periods, for new mothers after delivery. Actually, it's an item everyone can benefit from.What prompted me to finally sit down and write this review is that for some unknown reason the other day I found the cap had cracked. (It's very sturdy plastic so that surprised me.) I contacted the company re obtaining a new cap and they immediately responded and said they would send me one, free of charge, as soon as they received my address. Now that's great customer service. A really practical, useful product and terrific customer service... highly recommend!Update: They actually sent me a complete Aquabean, not just a new cap. This is a product and company you can love!

I have been dealing with anxiety these past few days because I cant decide what portable bidet I should buy. I was about to buy this purple little bottle with long nozzle and I bumped to this product but a little bit hesitant cos I can already see myself going to the comfort room holding a purple bottle. What should I say to people if someone ask whats that? What am I holding? Why is it purple? But this. This is what dreams are made of. This is more portable than most portable items you can see anywhere. Can fit in your pouch and even pocket! The item is made from high quality rubber that makes it easy to squeeze. Collects and produces enough water to clean your bumbum. May produce a lot more water than you need but it'll just take you two or three sessions to master the art of right squeezing. Now I am always looking forward to take my business.

I just got this today and it is a huge disappointment. I thought it was superior given the reviews plus it wasn't made of plastic so I bought the orange one. Its appearance is high quality but the function is basically unusable. It is bright burnt orange and stands on my vanity like a huge orange 10" sports flask. The silicone is soft. So soft in fact, the product barely stands up even when filled, just kind of gingerly wavering upright there like a water balloon. I've placed it between two items on the vanity to ensure it doesn't collapse. Also, the silicone is so soft that when I used it, even carefully squeezing it collapses it to fold right in half as you are pouring it forward. The front part flops forward cascading water everywhere. So if you have no clue where the avalanche of water will land. Did I say avalanche? It has no spray holes, just one huge gaping spout just like a sport water bottle except even large spout. You cannot adjust the flow to putting the pin in just a little farther to stem the tide. Expect to feel like you are pouring water from a gravy boat on to yourself. They will be beyond dripping wet and you aren't even sure if it cleaned anything directly. It is pouring out so fast you can't even direct it or squeeze it hard enough to get a strong stream because it is just pouring out of the bottle so fast plus folding in half. If you think I don't know how to operate these, I have been using a cheapo bidet bottle for over four years now and I finally caved to find a better quality one because the cheap one is hard to clean and growing mold.TL, DR: Don't buy this unless you like sloshing water indescrimately in a river across your nether regions. The silicone is waaaaay too soft to make it a functional bottle. The only benefit is being able to roll it up (to store it and never use it again). Pretty expensive ordering error on my part.Design might improve if silicone used is stiff like a stiff menstrual cup and or uses silicone ribbing all the way up to ensure sides stay open and can be squeezed but retain its shape enough to act like a bottle.

Not so good

First one leaked around the neck. Seller graciously sent me a new one without requiring a return, and I really appreciate that. Second one arrived, and the lid leaked. However, by combining the lid from the first with the body from the second I was able to make one non-leaking item. I'm delighted with responsiveness of seller, not so much with their quality control. But in all fairness, I do now have one viable product. I should mention that neither one of them leaked so badly they couldn't be used. Both are very tiny leaks, just enough that I can't keep a filled one in my bag for use in the nasty porta-potties I have to use. You'd have no problem filling at the sink and using in a stall. And they both work just fine for that, and leave you with that nice fresh feeling...

We have a very nice bidet sprayer in the house but we were not happy when we are out of town.This is a wonderful portable bidet and very useful anywhere you go.

Great product. I have had this for over 2 years and it continues to work great. The soft rubber is awesome since it allows the bottle to fold for travel. Takes up no space due to its excellent size. After thousands of uses it has maintained its shape and use with no leaks. Very impressed with quality. Will buy product again when available.
