Tinder Rope Natural Tinder Fire Starter - It Works
Overall the Tinder Rope Natural Tinder Fire Starter is a fairly good deal. It works and will help you to light a fire.I cannot give it full stars due to a couple of concerns that I have with it. 1. It is a little heavy on the wax or whatever other chemicals the rope may be impregnated with. I personally would like to see it with a little less. 2. It does not fray and fluff as easily as most waxed rope I have used. Again, I think this is due to a little bit too much wax. You can get it all frayed apart, but it takes a bit.If you are going to try and make a tinder bundle/nest out of it, and try to light it with some charcloth or some that has a very small ember in it, it is very difficult to get going. That being said, if you are using a ferro rod, it light up instantly from one stroke of a 6" rod. The frayed end caught fire and burned well. It did put off a lot of black soot/smoke while burning, again probably from having a little bit too much wax.If you are looking for a lot of waxed rope that will light easily with a ferro rod, this is the rope for you.

These work great
One strand of the rope is really all you need to start a fire

Easy to light with a feroccium rod
I’ve used few different fat ropes. They all work about the same. This product works as expected but so do all the rest.

Great little fire starter, but somewhat hard to fray
I bought this to compare with the brand that advertises online a lot. I was hoping for something you could light with flint and steel on a campout.I would say this works great with a match but isn't quite as good as dryer lint or frayed twine for flint and steel. It's almost like there is too much wax to catch sparks and unwind. For the money, this is a good value, but I feel like there might be better flint-and-steel tinder out there.

Don’t work as advertised - waste of money
I purchased these based on the recomendation of a social media influencer. I don’t understand why he recommended them so much, as they are practically impossible to light. I even pulled one apart so that I would have more surface area and air. It fizzled like a hair and certainly did not produce enough heat to help the tinder sticks catch fire.
