Very Sturdy and durable

Looking to keep your work space organized and avoid having forms wander off? This will help. It's not amazingly sturdy (it is just plastic), but if you aren't in a rough-and-tumble work environment, it should serve just fine. Great if you have limited workspace.

The Officemate #83303 is a plastic clipboard with a compartment inside that is large enough to accommodate a couple of tablets of legal sized notepaper. At the bottom edge is a smaller compartment with a white plastic flip-up cover, designed to hold writing instruments or other small accessories. There is room for a couple of pens but not too much more.The clipboard measures approximately 14.5” long, by 10” wide, and is about an inch thick. You can keep notepaper or other documents protected inside until they are needed. The clip is low profile, and is strong enough to securely hold a single sheet of paper. Plastic pads help to keep things from sliding out when the wind is blowing. The smooth plastic writing surface allows you to write clearly. The plastic isn’t completely rigid, so it can bend a little when you press down to write on it.The clipboard has a hinge on the left side, and a large release clip on the right side. The interior compartment is large and deep enough to house a couple of legal pads. There are no specific provisions for accommodating smaller items, but with a pad inside there should still be room for a couple of pens. On the back cover, there are ridges along the sides to provide a better grip. The plastic is fairly durable, and provides a good overall level of basic protection from the weather.I also have the  , a similar product that I have used for field work. The Officemate clipboard is probably equally functional, although the flip up cover may work better for those who are right handed. The white storage compartment is easily accessible and quite handy. Although a little bulky, this type of clipboard is more attractive and professional looking than your standard clipboard, and this particular series (#8330_) appears to be extremely popular with users.If you plan to use this outdoors, having some protection from rain and wind should be a plus. The annoying thing about soft plastic clipboards is that the writing surface bends inwards, but apparently reinforcing the cover to make it stiffer is not regarded as important. Having various available colors is nice for the fashion conscious, although color is usually a factor in the price you will pay. If you are fortunate, and the color isn’t a critical factor, there may be times when you can get an Officemate 8330_ for under 6 dollars.

I am very impressed by the clipboard's quality and functionality. The smooth surface is perfect for writing on and I love that the clipboard includes separate storage compartments for my writing utensils and documents. I find I no longer need to carry excess supplies in my work bag, because the clipboard perfectly compacts everything I need into one item. And the slim design makes it easy and convenient to bring anywhere! Plus, the durable storage compartment is great for protecting my documents from getting wrinkled or damaged. I highly recommend the clipboard to anyone looking for an optimized way to keep track of their work/school supplies. It certainly has helped me to declutter and stay organized!

used for work, good storage and works great

I have had this clipboard for nearly 6 months now. I was actually surprised by how much of a beating this clipboard could take; considering that it feels like brittle plastic. Since I've had this clipboard it has fallen off of carts onto solid metal ramps and concrete floors; and it has been at the bottom of a pile of fallen boxes, weighing approximately 5-25lbs. It's durability is somewhat impressive, however, it has a few quality problems. It scratches very easy. I hang it up on a metal hook (which isn't sharp) and it is scratching the inside up, pretty significantly. Also, one of the black, rubber pieces on the clip fell off. Fortunately I found it and it was easy to put back on. I just think that it came off way too easily and this product is relatively new. I wouldn't think that it would be falling apart like this. However, it could have fallen off from being damaged by some of the boxes that landed on it. The worst thing that has happened so far is that the semitransparent plastic compartment, located at the bottom, cracked on the left side and the right side looks like it's about to crack as well. Meaning, that the compartment is about to completely become detached. This clipboard is relatively affordable but I wouldn't recommend getting this for any heavy duty, industrial use.

I have had similar products before but all I have had the problem of pen storage b/c the clip at the top in no way holds the pen and if you try, it can actually snap back out at you! this solves that by also having pen storage (can even fit more than one). this is something everyone should own as part of their "tools" at home b/c it has endless uses. **IDEA for use: this is just perfect when house hunting. each property has that real estate sheet w/the specs that you end up collecting from each place and all of the properties can kind of blend together after seeing one after another. use the info sheets given to scribble down strengths/weaknesses and what you liked/hated/loved about each property. then quickly store INSIDE the item and be ready for the next one. you end up carrying ONE item instead of trying to keep track of all the sheets. this also works for any type of shopping when you are going to multiple stores comparing items/prices, etc such as for furniture. use the clip board to take down the details and use the storage to store your notes. options are endless. a great item to have

Ya llevo varios meses con esta carpeta y la verdad que sigue funcionando sin problemas, el material es de un rigido aceptable, y tiene dos comparttimientos, una para guardar documentos, carpetas, etc. (cosas de ese tipo) y otro para guardar lapices, lapiceros, plumones. Es muy practica, dado que es facil de transportar ya sea a mano o en una mochila, al igual que cuando salgo a campo esta carpeta la uso para evitar que se mojen o manches los documentos, eso si, algo a considerar es que en la parte de donde se guardan documentos/hojas no tiene un sujetador por lo que si hay mucho viento y abres la tapa de la carpeta pueden salir volando las hojas, en ese caso yo uso varios sujetadores o clips para administrar las hojas y no estar buscando entre el monton de hojas sueltas, claro si es que me encuentro en campo, en un lugar cerrado donde no hay vientos fuertes, no hay problema. En mi caso solo lo uso para documentacion, no he probado si entra un ipad/tabled.

This replaced my old clip board (typical style), and I like this one way better. I like having multiple sheets/folders inside the clipboard, and only needing to take out single sheets to put in the clipboard on the front.And I really like the bottom section where I can store pens, and paperclips. Very handy!So far the latches are holding well, and the compartments stay closed.The only drawback is that there isn't an inside "sleeve" to slide in smaller sheets. It's just one big compartment, but that's fine.Definitely more pros than cons with this.
