I took this bag on a trip with me throughout all of South Africa, it was perfect for the plane, the pockets were awesome. The drawstrings made it really easy to close then button flap for security, there was even a little pocket on the back (perfect for a passport) where NO ONE could even try to pick pocket. It is so durable, and I plan on using it for many more trips and hiking and camping; super light and very durable with a reasonable price!!

I love this backpack! It's pretty well made and actually holds quite a bit. That being said it isn't the biggest backpack so if you are a crazy camel person like myself (meaning you put everything and a little extra into your backpack to the point where it looks like you could be hiding a small person) you will have to cut back a bit. It doesn't really fit a 17 inch laptop. By that I mean if you don't mind your laptop awkwardly sticking out of the top then sure, it fits. A 15 inch absolutely fits.I don't know how important this is to mention but the zippers are jagged, if that makes sense. Compared to a zipper on your pants they have more of texture to them and don't zip as smoothly. In the grand scheme of things I don't think it matters how smooth your zippers feel but that they zip when you need them to (and with a wee bit more effort that usual they certainly do).The straps on the bag are sturdy. As I mentioned before I am a camel person so I do tend to over stuff my bags and the straps have held up beautifully with no apparent wear after several months of using the bag.Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase. It has lasted through several months of use and I certainly feel that it will last for quite a few more.

I was so excited to find Just the Backpack I was looking for. Then it arrived at my home. It looked just like the picture, the color was perfect. However, It was in a FILTHY plastic cover. When the packaging was opened there was the horrible odor of mold. There was no mold visible on the backpack, but the smell was overpowering. I tried sprinkling baking soda, and letting it sit for a while. I tried packing the body of the bag and pockets with dryer sheets. At one point I even sprayed it with Lysol. Over two months later it is still hanging in the garage "airing out". Sadly, I was not able to use the backpack on the vacation for which I had ordered it. I feel bad that I still can not remove the smell, and as a result I have not been able to use it.

I really like this backpack, it is attractive & stylish for a reasonably priced pack. It is a good size & has a lot of places to put things. I wanted a pack that did the job, but also looked better than your average black nylon type pack & this really works for me!

This bag is a nice break from the boring zipper bags that always break at the zipper. It is not too small, or too big either. I'm 6'5" and it fits my body perfectly along with my books, folders, pens, etc.

Does seem like a bad bag but it was a bit smaller than I had expected. Yes I did read the other reviews yet still it seemed a bit small for a grown man. Using it as an EDC bag and when I find the right on I will pass it on to my fiancé to use as her EDC

The colour looks different in picture than the reality. It's all brown, like the leather details.Also I had problem with the buttons. (It is very hard to buckle the buttons.)Nevertheless it is a nice bag, very comfort and usefull.
