Works great.
Works great, it is a big upgrade from my previous radio shack one. Heats up really fast and seems to keep the temperature without any issue, great value for the money, love the fact that the sleeping time is configurable and also goes back to temp right away when waking up.

Excellent for stained glass. Good balance. Great buy.
I'm using this for stained glass soldering. It has everything I need and the quality of the soldering iron surpasses others I've used. The soldering iron has good balance and fits both my medium size hand as well as my husband's large hand just fine. Excellent buy.

Melts solder
One of the arms doesn’t stay up well. Otherwise this is a great unit that heats up quickly. The extra tips are nice to have.

Holding Arms and Adjustable Temperature
Adjustable temp and nice soldering station. I used this on repairing my 2012 Chevy Colorado 4x4 center console switch. Lighting was out and buttons were intermittent. Installed LED lighting and replaced all three micro switches (2WD, 4WD High and 4WD Low). The lighting for the passenger air bag logo was also out so I replaced the incandescent bulbs as well with LEDs. Now I have full function and lighting back. I would have just bought an entire new switch from GM, but they discontinued this part and only available as used.

I needed this years ago!
I've needed a soldering station like this for over 40 years! Heats up quickly. Keeps everything handy and within reach. I love the temperature adjustment. Added extra tips and replaced the useless roll of tin with good 60/40 lead solder and I'm already at work on projects.

Won’t heat up at all.(edit)
Plugged it in and turned it on. After about two minutes I could touch the tip, it hadn’t heated up at all. Display set to 550. (Edit) They sent me a new one and it works great.

Works well enough, build quality is average, does not seem to heat up enough or hold heat.
I always wanted a soldering station and this one had the right price and features that i thought i could use. I had a soldering project in mind, some electronics, and bought this unit. It came in a few days, Boxed well and all the little adders were included. It came with a suction desolder tool that broke on the second use. When i say second use, i mean the second time i retracted the plunger. The case is plastic but the tool itself is reasonably well made. I did find it difficult to set the temperature, and well, it doesnt appear that the setting are accurate or that the tool maintains heat well enough. I haven't experimented with tips or anything else but did find that i could not get the tool hot enough to melt some electronic solder or silver bearing solder even at the highest settings. These are things that i was able to do easily with a cheap pencil iron from Radio Shack that had no adjustment but a plugged into a wall. Also, my Weller trigger type soldering gun worked fine. So i have to give this 3 stars for temperature and overall heating.
