For Ladies and Gentleman
Hello everyone, this is a two fold review, one is a quick recap of my year plus using hose off, and two is a comparison of hose off to hot springs.Hose Off and Hot Springs are nearly identical so I'm going to give you the skinny. Hose off has no unnatural scents added, and is an effective soap that won't dry you out. It lathers up good enough, it lasts forever, and it's all natural so long as you believe glycerin is natural (it's made from vegetable fat and lye, so it's natural enough. Here's your cue to avoid this if you're sensitive to glycerin). I've used Dr. Bronners in the past, and as "natural soaps" go, this is no contest, you will clean yourself better in the shower with this soap, because lather is what gets you clean. As I mentioned in my Hose Off review, this will get rid of a manly stink in all the problem manly stink areas: Butt, Crotch, Foot, and Pit, and rinses off clean. Now for what's different with Hot Springs. The smell. Hose Off basically smells like mushrooms. It doesn't stick to you, but washing up with it is an earthy experience. Hot Springs smells... just barely... like a soap(Okay, a mushroom covered in a very slightly smelling soap). If you get up close and personal within one inch of yourself after a shower, you might detect the smallest whiff of lavender. That's it! There's nothing particularly unmanly or ladylike about this scent, I rather like it. It still probably won't overpower the smell of your cologne or deodorant, but if you're going au natural, nobody is going to ask you why you smell like a lady.If I really had to break it down... if your allergic to nearly every kind of scent (but not glycerin), go with Hose Off. If you're not, try Hot Springs. If you want an overpowering scented body wash, try something else.

I really love this body wash
I really love this body wash. It is free of all harmful chemicals and has simple ingredients. It is one of the few products that I find matches my vibe, which is granola hippie. I try to use products that are entirely free of harsh chemicals and toxins. This one fits the bill. Sometimes it frustrates me, because it does not soap up much and washes away easy -- but I am a clean freak and love suds ! Although you tend not to get much suds with products that are great for you and the environment. The product details state that this product is super concentrated, so I only use a little bit. This body wash still soaps up a decent amount and gets rid of any stink. I've also been using this product to wash one of my newer cartilage piercings. It is helping this one (which has been giving me trouble) heal quicker. I would not recommend this as the way to take care of your piercing, but it helps keep areas clean that are prone to irritation without harming them! Previous recommenders state that this product is good for dry skin. I did not notice it to be super helpful, but it also does not dry my skin out at all. I have really sensitive skin that is prone to dryness, so nothing really helps but this definitely does not exacerbate the problem. I say for sure try it! Overall great product and look forward to ordering more from this brand.

Great soap. Screw on cap is annoying.
Okay, so the scent is a little off putting, but you will eventually come around to it. Soap lathers nicely. The one thing I love about this is how clean i feel for hours after my shower. Most soaps cleanliness feeling goes away an hour or so after your shower, not with this. reason I gave this 4 and not 5 stars was the screw on cap. This is a huge pain in the shower having to screw on and off the cap with soap on your hands. This doesn't seem like a big deal, but its noticeably annoying. I will continue to buy , but will try "Hose Off" next. The dog shampoo they sell is also the very best I've come across for my vizsla dog.Bottom line... soap is greatScent is ehhhhhscrew on cap sucks.

Hot Springs body wash review
I like the bottle style, and the liquid is nice ... Not too watery. It's just right for lathering up, and I love that it doesn't leave a film, like bar soap ... Just clean. However, the scent is an unpleasant experience for me ... A bitter medicinal scent. I still use it, though, because of all the reasons above that I mentioned. I started using their Moosh dog shampoo on my 3 dogs because of the small ingredient list composed of only natural stuff. I used it on myself, as well, and like it so much that I ordered their Hot Springs ... For humans.

Even gets sunscreen (waxy stick, lotion, cream & spray) to come right off at the end of a day on the beach!
I absolutely LOVE this stuff!! And just discovered an amazing additional benefit - I'm on vacation at the beach, using LOADS of sunscreen (lotion, cream, spray, waxy stick thing). In the past I've never felt like I got all the "stuff" off, like there was a layer of filmy ick on my skin. (This is also likely in part due to having very soft water at vacation, and mild-hard water at home.) I just got home from being down on the beach since 9am (so a full 8hrs), and today was the first day I used that waxy stick sunscreen, and used it ON MY FACE. I was fully expecting to have to wash my face 5 times, and still not feel like that film was off - NOPE. This amazing gentle, hardy, multi-use soap cut right through the layers of sunscreen, sea-water, sweat and grime - one wash and it was all gone!

Not crazy about the scent, but I like it
I was really excited to try this after reading the reviews and list of ingredients. I really like how well it cleans and lathers, as well as the ingredients and that you really only need a small dollop. It also works well as a shampoo. My only issue with this is the scent (a little too masculine for me with the Vertiver) and that it's too strong to use on my private areas. Also, I wish it had some other types of clay in it as the labeling makes it seem like it has more than one type.

and I am pleased that this product neither irritates or dries it
I was searching for a earth friendly shower soap to replace the traditional bar of soap I had been using. Initially I didn't care for the smell, but it's grown on me. Doesn't require a lot of soap to clean up. I have sensitive skin, and I am pleased that this product neither irritates or dries it. I've been using for a few weeks now, will have to see how long this bottle lasts. I might go with the other scent next time to see if I like it better.
