I loved this - UNTIL -
I love the idea of this - in fact, I thought of it years ago and should have acted on it! CouldaShoulda. These suspenders worked fine but after just 4 walks, the back suspenders seemed to slip down on our Golden's hips. So it seemed that we needed to adjust the strap that runs down the back (shorten it up). I tried doing this but the clip held the elastic very very tight. So I tried to slip/pry it up and when I did, the part holding the elastic broke off. Yep. Broke right off. I'm just 8 days beyond the return time so am stuck with these. Extremely disappointed. Perhaps I can sew it in place (but shouldn't have to). I might add - the clips are rather thin - I suppose for comfort - which is good, but they need to hold up as well.

Great product
My dog has a grass allergy & I have to protect her feet with tube socks every year! I made my own suspension system with elastic, but it never adjusted right & my dog appeared uncomfortable. ThisSuspender system provided the perfect solution. It's easy to adjust, very good quality, & my dog appears much more comfortable when using it

Will not work if your dog lies down
Good idea but not a very good implementation of the idea. A single clasp per leg is not enough and the leg straps only stay on if your dog is in a standing position. I have a dog with grass allergies and he licks his paws to the point of causing sore and infection if I let him. So we cover his feet with socks. It's a constant battle though - one flick of his paw and a sock falls right off. I thought these suspenders would be great to keep the socks on. The biggest problem - when a dog lays down, they squish their bodies up and the suspenders are no longer taut enough to stay in place. When he is walking, the sock turns and eventually falls off because the clasp comes off. I think this system would work better if the leg straps had multiple clasps to hold on in more than one place and if the legs were a bungie type strap that stretched with walking and compressed when a dog was laying down. They are stretchy, just not stretchy enough. I would pay good money too - just to keep the footwear on.

Doesn't work- falls off
Poor quality- band broke the first time we put it on the dog. Also, there's nothing to keep it in place- the intersecting bands that go on top of the dog's rear hips just slide off to one side and wrap around the dog's legs.
