I love these! They are solid and really well-made—durable and great design. Large mouth, so cleaning is much easier. I have large hands, and I can fit one in there to clean. And Start is a pain to clean. The different lids are great. All of great quality. Works as advertised. Happy camper here.

These jars are wonderful for sourdough. I use the glass lids when it is sitting on the counter and the plastic lid for in the fridge. anyone who knows sourdough, flour can be a pain to clean off of jars. These clean up super easy for me. Sometimes flour gets stuck around the rim but it’s not too hard to get off. The size is perfect for what I need. The opening of the jar is nice and wide. They are wheat quality for the money. Best jars I’ve used.

The jars arrived on time. They were packaged with bubble wrap and in fine condition. I am looking forward to using these for sourdough starter. They seem well made. They have a pretty, vintage look to them. I like having the 3 different lid options for each jar.

This is the perfect home for Sourdough Starters! Love the heavy glass that doesn't break easily. The large mouth and curved bottom make mixing and cleaning the sides easy.

My sourdough starter loves this jar. I bought this after reading a lot of positive reviews and because I thought the jars were pretty, but as soon as I put my starter in this jar, it took off! I keep my starter in the fridge, but even in the fridge in this jar, it doubles in about 24 hours. And these jars are SO pretty to see in the fridge. I have also used the jars to store berries and they keep my berries fresh for much longer than other storage containers.

Needed for Sourdough Starter. Way better than a mason jar to feed your starter!

Works well for starter

These are great jars for live yeast! Wide opening makes it so easy to scoop from, and the different caps are nice to allow breathable or airtight seal. The only problem (and be aware which is why I dropped one star) is that I ordered the 2 jar combo and only received one. When I spoke to customer service about it, they told me they created a new 2 jar combo order for me, but again I only received one jar. In the end, I do have 2 jars, but luckily I hadn't returned the first order before receiving the 2nd. They told me to just ignore the return email for the first order.

It was smashed to pieces! Not happy. The glass shards were falling out of the box when I placed it on my bench.
