Bought for my partner who doesn't want to take it off
I bought this for my partner, who wears it all the time. Mainly bought for hiking but haven't done any yet. She has been wearing it for the gym and is very impressed with the different activities which you can set. During the three weeks she has had the watch, she has charged it twice. Battery life is amazing. She loves the design which is a bit different from others on the market and not as bulky as she has slim wrists this suits her better. Overall very impressed.

Battery dead flat after 24 hours, had the watch 3.5 months.
I've had the suunto for 3.5 months now and I was pleased with some aspects of it, it looks sleek and cool, but really not happy with most aspects of it. The strap is infuriating weak the little metal bobble is a terrible idea it just doesn't stay 'clasped'. The step counter is widely inaccurate and tells me I've done 10000 steps when I know ive sat at my desk all day and not done a third of that. Same goes for the calories burned function. The 'during activity' function is great and I like the read out, better than my garmin. But a couple of days ago the battery went kaput, it now doesn't last 24 hours before it's dead flat. Going back to my trusty Garmin Forerunner 745. And hoping I can get some redress from Amazon....

Battery - serious problem!
I bought this Suunto 9 sports watch exactly a year ago from today. It kept the charge 5 days - as advertised - so all good. It was my third Suunto watch - so I'm sort of brand ambassador - recommended this brand to many of my friends. And after 1 year my new Suunto 9 watch battery now lasts exactly ONE DAY. Without any reason. So it's very unlikely I will buy Suunto again. Otherwise I'm very happy with watch features and ease of use!

Impossible to work
Purchased to climb Ben Ben Nevis. Recorded my claims as a run. Get stuck on pages and cannot get out freezes ! Can’t reset useless and annoying. Positive ms super light and good battery other than than pointless ! Returning if and when the carrier a tidally turns up !

It's lagging like hell and only one strap in the box.

Beautiful but not accurate
As others have referred to, this is beautifully made and very comfortable. The real problem is that it is a £600 sports watch, not a smart watch, and key things it should be good at (HR tracking, GPS accuracy) it is just not - its significantly less accurate than my 3 year old Garmin Fenix. GPS lock can be slow, altitude seems to require constant recalibration and HR tracking during exercise is not reliable. Not so long ago Suunto watches were well known for being THE most accurate and THE most reliable. I fear that time has passed which is a huge shame as it means we are all stuck with Garmin!
