Product is just as described. Easy open and close. Fits snug but not too tight. Blocks wind and sun amazingly. The hat is comfortable to wear and functions perfectly.

In order to wear this you either have to have too much self esteem or none at all because it looks really goofy. I will say it is big enough to cover your body easily in the rain, but a good 10mph wind might blow it off your head. The elastic band is comfortable but does not have a lot of grip. I can't wait to wear this the next time I go to the movies.

Use this for all my kids track meets since im a coach im constantly in the Texas sun. I love the size as it covered my neck and shoulders. Reflects the sun and keeps you cool. Price is worth the product but if there's wind it will not stay in place, even with the strap on tight. It's well made all except for the actual metal parts. They are sharp, when the light winds blew I grabbed the internal metal parts and got cut not once but twice. It fits comfortably on my head and I wear my hair in a bun, I wish the head peice was adjustable so I could keep it on if the wind picks up. This is a must have to free up your hands and keep you shaded, but don't recommend for windy weather.

Everything was exactly what I wanted but it catches even the slightest wind. Brilliant idea but the design needs work to deal with the wind better.

Great hat! The straps that hold the hat on keep my head cool. It’s a good sunblock. I use it when I’m mowing the yard and washing my car, and I have both hands free for my work. I think it would probably work well for fishing, but probably not at the beach.

Cons:- Very flimsy- Cheaply made- Does not stay open, I had to add a piece of cloth in the hole to keep it in open position- CANNOT BE USED IN WINDY CONDITIONS- Even in areas with low wind, A SUDDEN GUST OF WIND will make it useless and embarrassing- Potentially deadly since it can pull your neck with the windPros:- Without any wind, it keeps the heat out.

I just bought this umbrella hat with the added ventilation cover on the top. Having an over abundance of D3 in me, i must protect myself from the sun and the heat. I work outside in the summer. It definitely gives me Protection and covers my shoulders. The silver coating actually deflects the sun's rays and heat. It is easy to open and close once you get the hang of it. When watching a review on this hat, they did a temperature review and the result was about a 30° cooler difference. I actually felt a difference in the temperature myself.The only drawback is that it does not do well on a breezy day. I live in North Dakota and its almost always some type of breeze outside. The wind must be less than 10 mph for the hat to feel secure on your head. It's worth the price

This was the best purchase I ever made. It’s comfortable and ease to use. The quality is good for the price. It’s not to stable in the face of wind.
