MOUNDS OF HAPPY BASIL FOREVER!
This is the easiest way to grow basil, by far! It's also so FUN! You get to monitor your baby basils from your phone. I went on vacation after a couple weeks and it was so nice not to have to worry about it. When I came back, there was BASIL GALORE! And it looks so happy and healthy. I made the most magnificent pesto ever (and I make a mean pesto as is) with these happy leaves. It makes me happy to look at them every day. The container itself is also so sleek and cute. It's something I am proud to display and looks fantastic in my kitchen. The wood frame it's in is nothing short of gorgeous. And you can control the lighting. I actually kept mine on overnight so I had a little light in the kitchen, but you can decide your own schedule. Also, the pics I added are AFTER I had already harvested. I ende up leaving them in there for a bit and they happily grew back. I cannot wait to transplant them and continue to use my edn SmallGarden for many more plants and veggies! Did you know you can add your own seeds to their plain pods?! Genius! I love every single thing about this!!!!! Don't think about it, buy one now! And grab one for a friend! GREAT housewarming, wedding, birthday gifts since they're easy and beautiful!!!

A Game-Changer for Growing Indoors!
I recently purchased the EDN SmallGarden, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results! Whether you are a seasoned gardener or just starting out, this smart garden makes growing plants indoors incredibly easy and fun. Setup instructions were clear, and I had it up and running in less than 10 minutes. It fits perfectly on my kitchen counter and doesn't take up too much space or make a mess! We are looking forward to having fresh produce year-round with our SmallGarden!

Water sensor does not work.
Before purchasing, I saw another review that mentioned their water level sensor didn't work. The exact thing I was worried about, does not work on my brand new unit.On the initial setup, the sensor responded to a fill. But slowly reverted to "Empty" over the course of an hour. I added more water to no effect. I even poured it all out and started over. The sensor reads "empty".I used a level to make sure my unit was sitting completely flat. For a $200 product, this is unacceptable. This is the main "smart" feature here. Now all I have is a $200 light timer.

Overall High Quality, Fun Garden
The garden is elegant and relatively easy to set up with your iPhone. I like that the lights come on automatically for the number of hours that I set.I am looking forward to having herbs to pick during the long winter when I can't grow them outside.

Green thumbs up!
I purchased the edn small garden for my father in-law who picks up every vegetable and bunches of herbs at the market before he decides which one is right for him. So, I figured why not let him grow his own garden and spare the public? All he really needed was a little bit of help. And that’s what the edn small garden does – help anyone, including in-laws, grow vegetables and herbs.I have it set up in the kitchen, where the LED grow lights also help with the dim kitchen lighting. The garden is fairly easy get up and running and the iPhone app was easy to navigate, understand and connect to wi-fi.10 basil seed pods are included to get your feet wet and learn the system. There’s not too much to learn as edn lets you know when it’s time to water, care and even snip your plants to eat or move to a potted or in-ground plant system. The light schedule is automatic via LEDs that don’t cost an arm, leg or thumb to run daily. after a few weeks, we had substantial growth by just adding water when we were alerted. To be honest, the kitchen has never had a better aroma with the fresh basil growing. Since our first planting, we’ve moved onto lettuce, chives and now mint.I recommend the edn small garden for anyone who is picky about their garden vegetables and herbs. It’s easy to get started with edn’s app and uber controlled growing guidance. There’s hope for us all who may not have been successful in the past growing their own garden. After all, what do you call a cheerleading herb? An encourage mint!

So far, overwhelmed & horrified!
I want to love this, I really do, but two days in and so far I’m overwhelmed and horrified! First, the packaging. It’s packaged really well, like 1980s well. The Amazon box, the inner box, the fancy suitcase box, the real box, and every component boxed individually. I haven’t seen so much packaging for one item in years! Then, there’s the ease of setup… for an 18 year old, maybe, but not for a grown up. The print on the pamphlet (which had a special sleeve in one of the layers of boxes) is a medium green font on a slightly dark light green background. In other word, nearly unreadable! And one of the critical (of many) QR codes is on the underside of the light bar which besides the bottom of the unit itself would be the most difficult place to get to. My iPhone was satisfied with set up after about two hours of trying. But in the morning I get a ‘cannot update’ message coupled with, ‘please contact customer support’ message. If I could’ve just had something that I could read it might’ve made it all so much easier. But the placement is also tricky because you need access and visibility to both ends. No tucking this baby in a corner! No, you add water from one end and need to be able to see (for the multiple resets you will do during setup) from the other end. So placement needs to be on a pedestal with power supply and 365 degrees of observation available. I’m sure I will get at least one round of basil as the fruits of my labor, but At this point, I’m thinking that it’s much more efficient to buy some basil and then buy some more. This is an exercise in paying for frustration that I really wasn’t prepared for.

Almost Smart
The build quality on this is amazing. I like the premium feel and the ease for beginners. However it could have better integration with HomeKit rather than just an off and on light. Would love to see water level in HK and notifications similar to the ēdn garden.
