UPDATE: Since I brought this bag, for some strange reason, the manufacturers decided to change the size of the nuggets to a large size. Why? I don't get it. Senior cats would do better, mine did better with the smaller nugget.I bought this for our senior kitty we recently adopted. We found out by trial that she's allergic to grain. Hence, a grain-free diet is essential. I wanted something safe and with safe ingredients: ingredients that I recognize. This fit the bill. Better yet, our senior kitty actually enjoys it, which makes it a plus. There are many options for grain-free cat food, but not all are natural with wholesome ingredients and not all are for seniors. This one fits the bill nicely. I like what is in it and what isn't and highly recommend this one. In fact, the other two adult cats in my house love to nibble on it, too. It is a bit more higher priced, but well worth it to make my senior kitty happy and comfortable. No more endless trips to the litter box for her.Overall, a good safe grain-free food for the senior kitty in your life. The bag came sealed and stays sealed with a Ziploc top. The bag is a kind of mylar, so cats can't simply rip into it.

We have an elderly cat who has tummy issues. Extremely sensitive to foods, resulting in bloody, wet stool, vomiting and overall kitty sadness. He had been on prescription meds and foods since we adopted him 6 years ago. About a year ago, we found a similar grain free senior cat food that was life changing for kitty. His tummy issues subsided and we were thrilled. However, the recent batch of food caused kitty to have severe vomit and diarrhea reaction. Met with vet and she reminded us that our dog has been happily eating the dog version of this food, exclusively for a year and she has never been healthier. Vet suggested we try this for our cat. Kitty has been on this food for one week and vomiting stopped. Bloody stool stopped. His poo is a bit light colored and soft, but we are confident this will change as he adjusts to the new food. We had to introduce it cold turkey. so it was probably a shock to him. I formerly sang the praises of another brand, but for now, this will be the only food our precious cat eats!

A good product and healthy for the senior cat. Easily digested and gives her a nicer coat.

My senior cat does not vomit since switching to this small pellets. No grains is great, too.

This rating isn't realistic as I am a human and I don't eat catfood (at least not knowingly). However after trying this food on my cats...they sniffed it, ate a few bites and walked away. I tried several times and 3 out of 5 times they wanted nothing to do with this food. The other 2 times they would nibble then walk away. They prefer some other foods to this one.

This is a wonderful dry food. It is grain-free and truly natural. I have five cats of my own, and I foster adult cats. The first thing I do with new fosters is transition them away from the grain-rich, junk rich food they are eating, usually a cheap dry food. I have yet to meet a cat who doesn't like this, and have encountered no digestive problems during transition.

My two 12 year "fatties" are coming around to this quality low cal food and my baby kitten think its exciting and sneak to the dish every opportunity. It's a challenge to keep everyone out of the others bowls!

I moved my 16-y.o. Siamese cat to this food after he stopped eating his regular raw food due to stomach issues, almost a year ago. He loves the food and his health definitely improved (he does not have stomach issues any longer). Also, he has asthma, and this dry food is the only one from many brands that we've tried that does not cause asthma attacks.
