Don't worry about the remote, it's not a problem
Tough choices out there, I'm glad I picked these. I bought three sets for a hearth-candelabra set up. Very easy to figure out. Yes, the remote seldom hits all 9 candles at once, but that is only a minor inconvenience. Once you get over wanting to play with the colors and so on because it's a new toy, you don't spend much time working the remote (or we don't, anyway). And the remote is far more convenient than manually turning them on and off -- or lighting real candles, for that matter. As a bonus, having bought 3 sets, I have 3 remotes that all work, so if I lose one -- they aren't big -- I have backups.Of the 9 candles I bought, one arrived with a slight defect -- the tiny LED circuit board inside had shaken loose in shipping (or so I assume) and so the light was loose inside the base of the candle. As I discovered, the bottom of the candle is basically just a disc of plastic set into the end of an empty wax tube, so I carefully pried it out of the candle and with a couple dabs of superglue fixed the problem. Also, note that the bottom has a slight recess (1/4 inch perhaps to accommodate the on off switch, etc.). This was ideal for me because the candelabra I bought had spikes for candles built in. I snapped them all off with pliers easily enough, but was left with tiny "stumps". As it happens, these candles fit right over them and sit squarely (um, roundly?) in position. Can't speak to battery life yet, but I'm very pleased with this purchase.

This Company Could do Less for customer Satisfaction but Chooses to do More
These candles are very nice and the available functions make them very appealing for household use safety. The colors are true and the range of the remotes is accurately described at about 15 feet, which makes these easy to operate. The timer functions are wonderful at 4 and 8 hours. If I were to improve on this I would add a Two hour timer function but I honestly do not think these use a tremendous amount of battery life using the 4 hour timer. The colors are a nice addition of options for holidays although I am fond of the simple Yellow or White for my own use.To note, the White does dot have its own Button, rather the candles by default start on White when the switch is engaged. No comments would be complete about this product without mentioning Customer Service and package delivery and presentation as noted by others.William who handles Customer relations does an excellent job of communication and actually sincerely wanting his customers to be happy first and foremost with the products.Any concerns or questions are answered quickly and with the intent of making the customer satisfied. The packaging itself is a treat and you know immediately you are dealing with a company that pays attention to details and first impressions.I don't normally rave about packaging but these are attractive high quality and finished Green boxes they arrive in.The company Could have done less but they Chose to do More ..... How refreshing is That?Ideal for impressive gifts upon arrival and you will not just toss the box, it is too nice. All in all this product and company deserves high praise and my sincere thanks.Well done William!

Setting the mood
Okay, these are major fun! Love the color changing, plus the remote control that lets me embrace my mood for various options of color, from the comfort of my couch. Feeling a little blue --- click blue, a little vibrant --- click orange --- or whatever color floats your boat. There are so many options with these candles, you will be mind-boggled --- in a good way.Flameless candles are so practical. Just last evening, I was awakened by a terrible storm. I suspected that there would be a power failure, at any moment. How comforting to turn these candles on. I could go back to sleep, knowing I'd have a nightlight in the event of emergency, but not have to worry about real candle flames.I know it's only July, but we will all be thinking of holiday gifting, before we know it. I think these would make great gifts. Plus, they came so nicely boxed, that just throwing on a bow would be enough.I can't really speak to the battery life if used daily. I have such unpredictable hours, that I prefer to turn them on only when I have time to really enjoy them, so they continue to go strong, with intermittent use. I can attest to the fact the remote and options work exactly as described. And they look like real candles, in flicker mode. Fun times!

Flameless Candle Review 45 sets. bulk order review.
These are nice little candles, but, quality is an issue, packaging is also an issue, though not initially apparent.I purchased 45 sets to use as a gift and to activate a space for a party. of the 135 candles, 36 were damaged or defective.Numerous lights have broken or loose LEDs so the light is not at the top like a candle, but down inside the candle, loose and rattling. Many candles arrived shattered and broken. The candle wax is a bit thin and even though the boxes were in perfect condition, the candles inside must have been compressed or poorly handled in the process. The picture I attach shows the condition and what to expect when ordering in quantity. The remotes are nice and the multiple colors are very cool. The functioning units are ok, but again, marginal quality. The idea was to have people departing the party each take a set home with them as a gift. That concept was shot down due to the quality of the goods and the viable units remaining. These ended up being expensive one use table decorations. Rarely one to leave reviews on product, but thought you may want to know.Amazon has asked for the broken candles to be returned, which is a further waste of resources.
