Awesome singing bowl!! I’m new to using these bowls, tried another that said perfect for beginners but I could never get it to work so returned it. This bowl worked the very first try. The more I use it, get accustomed to it, the better the sounds. And it holds a tone for a while after you stop using the mallet. Louder stronger sounds with slight pressure up near the rim. Although there is a very small spot on the rim that is missing the color, it plays perfectly. LOVE the bowl. Highly recommend. The chakra stones are beautiful too. You won’t be disappointed with your purchase.

This is a great little bowl. I was looking for something cheap and compact that I could comfortably travel with and this little guy did not disappoint. It's got a nice high soft tone, which makes it relatively discrete for what that's worth. Aesthetically, the bowl is wrapped in sanskrit script covering most of the exterior. While not a traditional feature of singing bowls, it is quite striking. The pillow it comes with features a similar pattern in gold and black. It matches nicely. The mallet is nice too, it's made from real wood, it looks nice and works well. Instructions for playing the bowl are included, so this would make a suitable gift for someone a beginner. There's a link to their website on the instruction card, it's worth checking out. They send a download link for an mp3 recording of bowls being played, and a thorough guide to playing the bowls and a couple ebooks about chakras and calmness.As an added bonus this bowl comes with a set of crystals that apparently correspond to the chakras, and a cute little crystal necklace. i don't know much about using crystals, but they look nice. They come with a little card which identifies them and their associated chakras. I look forward to trying them out.
