I loved sleeping in the SUV instead of setting up a tent on a recent camping trip. I had to enter and exit the car through the passenger door though, as when I tried to unzip, it pulled away from the car. This and the two passenger window screens now live in my car for "insta Camping" if I feel like it.

UPDATE—I have since used this product on a camping trip and have a couple of additional thoughts. My original complaint about it not having enough magnets, and them not being strong enough though still stands.But, I have since realized there is only one zipper (I thought it was a two way zipper) and it only opens/closes from the bottom. It would have been a lot more convenient if the zipper opened/closed from the middle of the screen. The bottom of the zipper is well underneath my car, which of course makes it impossible to unzip from inside the car.This may not be an issue depending on how it ends up fitting your car, but for me, since it only opens at the bottom, that means it becomes really loose when unzipping the whole way, which sometimes leads to the bottom hooks that go around my hubcaps to fall off. Also, because I can’t zip it all the way down without the top coming off (due to the weak magnets) the zipper has a tendency to open itself up.Had it been a two way zipper, this likely wouldn’t happen AND I think it would make it more convenient to get in and out of the back in general.Again, not a dealbreaker in my opinion. I can work around it, but for the price, I still feel like it could have been made better.ORIGINAL REVIEW—I haven’t used this enough to give it a proper review but I did put it on to make sure it fit my small hatchback and here are my first impressions.The Velcro that goes around the struts is really strong but the magnets around the edging to hold the screen to the car were disappointing.While the magnets are strong enough to keep the screen onto the car, the problem is when you try to zip/unzip it open/closed. The pulling of the zipper inherently puts more pressure on the magnets, particularly the top section, and doing so leads to the magnets coming off the car. This also makes me question how well it will hold up in windy conditions.As it is, I plan to keep it, but I will have to reinforce with stronger magnets, which is annoying. For the $40 price tag, I expected stronger magnets.

We travel the Al-Can highway every year and the bugs are bad, like pick you up and carry you away bad. We have always suffered through hot stuffy nights sleeping with the windows and doors shut because it's better then being eaten alive while trying to sleep, not to mention hearing the buzzing mosquitoes make while near your ears. This netting was a huge game changer for us! 10 out of 10, highly recommended! Easy to use and easy to store!

These work as advertised and are easy to install. They are also easy to knock down if you bump them. That being said, if you put them up and leave them alone they work fine. I like them. Would buy them again. Good value for the money and they do a good job of adding privacy to your interior when you need it.

Well made. I aired it out outside as it came with a funny chemical smell, but the smell has since gone. Worked well to keep bugs out but let the breeze in while camping in the back of my 4Runner.

It does actually work. Perhaps not perfectly but it does wok. The Sun Shade is the lightest material possible which basically just hangs from a string. You need to be careful when using the shade or you can easily pull it down. In my mini-van the shade only hangs down half way to the floor...just a couple inches below the level of the windshield. It was something I didn't expect but actually works out okay for my purposes. Time will tell which will last longer, the shade or my patience.

Unfortunately, the sharp metal hooks scratched the wall of my car.The hook has a sharp point, so what can you do to make it better?

Works the way it says it works. Only thing is the clips or a little cheap but with a little bit of engineering you could probably screw them into your vinyl if you’re gonna keep it up all the time.

I'll start by saying that I haven't used it on a trip yet but have put it up in my van to see how it looks. It is functional and a good idea. My first thought was that the clips looked really 'short' to hook onto the plastic cover - I would have personally liked them to be around 4X longer to feel that they are really secure in there. Otherwise I can't really judge them without having used them for a while. The only reason for 4 stars is that where they join could be better and leaves a bit of a gap.

So, this works and was surprisingly easy to put in. I did have to tuck one side in seat pocket because my kid has a back pocket organizer and tablet holder that goes on seat back in front of him. Otherwise it is great!

I used this in my Nissan Rogue and it fit well. Kept the light out and gave me some privacy so I could sleep in the back. Wasn't sure since the price was so low but it's worked well. Great purchase.
