Lion Brand Yarn Summer Nights Bonus Bundle Yarn, Sunset (1 skein/ball)

When I first saw this yarn at Joann's I fell in love with it and thought that any shawl would be great with this. I was WRONG, this is the tangled mess the anti-christ will surely come out from. It's ok when you use up 60%-70%, then the nightmare begins. Don't ever think of using the remaining 30%-25% since it is so tangled no amount of patience and wine can make you tackle this mess. Maybe just give it to the neighbor's cat and see how he becomes trapped in the merciless pit from hell.

The picture does it justice! Ordinarily the saying would go 'the picture doesn't do it justice' but we yarn lovers know all too well what it's like to pick out a yarn that looks stunning in the picture and then when it arrives the colors aren't as bright and the weave isn't as smooth or the sparkle doesn't hold luster. This yarn is NOT like that. It is EXACTLY as it appears in the photo right down to the tiniest hint of metallic sparkle peppered through it. The description recommends using it as an additive in tandem with a larger yarn but I think that would be a complete shame. Trust me on this, once you have it you're going to want to break out your tiny needles and use it as is on it's own so plan accordingly and buy enough for whatever project you have in mind. It's delicate but the end result is going to be luxurious!

It’s beautiful, but it tangled way too easily and caused me to spend too much time trying to get the knots out. I gave up after a couple hours of trying to work with it.
