Avias Supply 9 Inch 6 Piece Stainless Steel Throwing Knife Set with Nylon Sheath (Blue Angel)

The knife bent and split????Don't know how to inform the seller of these knives. So the only way to inform anyone of these "throwing knives" is to write a review. I got these for my husband for Father's Day, my husband and our son enjoy throwing knives and I thought a new set would be a good gift.And in minutes, not hours, not days not even a lot of use before one of the "throwing knives" bent and split. How can you call these knives "throwing knives" when they can't handle being thrown. They should be able to handle being thrown against a wooden wall, but no they can't, buyer beware.I've included picks of the bent split knife as will as a pic of where and what the knives are being thrown. Just a wooden wall with carpet to help pad when knives fall. So the knives should not have bent or split.

Needed to be sharpened and ended up breaking one after many uses. Major good point; the color - they stand out in the grass (or in the ditch behind your fence behind your house that is scary and full of standing water) and are easy to find if you happen to miss the target. Nicely weighted and light enough for a weak arm to have success.

These are a lot of fun! Got the Jack Ripper set, sharpened and ready to go! Case could be a little better, upon arrival these knives were so sharp they almost cut their way out of the plastic slots the nylon case has inside. Shipping was also late but nothing too crazy. Quality of knives is great, priced very fair. If I need more I'm going to return to this line of knives!

So, recently got into throwing various objects....nails, knives, hatchets and really anything pointy. I really like these bolts. They are long enough and heavy enough to fly nice and straight. Avias has many different options available of which I have a few of their sets. This one is my favorite as of now. From 3ish yards into a pine round with a 3-4 inch bullseye...throwing 5 for 6 into the bullseye

Good throwing knives for the price, fairly well balanced and sharp. Use them regularly over several weeks, and only bent the tip on one on a bad throw. Straightened the tip, and back in Action. Would definitely recommend for someone just starting out who doesn't want to spend a lot of money but still wants decent knives. Shipped on time, but the wrong color was sent. I ordered the Sky Hawk,but got the Black Hawk. Since color didn't matter too much, I just kept them. The cording feels okay, but it fell apart on the second throw. The sharp edge of the handle apparently frayed the cord and the pressure from throwing the knife was enough to break it in multiple places. Terrible design. As far as weight goes, they seem fine so far. The set I got without cording on the handle is working fine.

There ok cheap metal and they come sharp throwing knives you do not want sharp You just want a good tip I took a rock and ran the blade down it So I Wouldn’t cut myself when using them

Pretty well balanced. Somewhat light for my tastes. No tip issues with breaking. Well worth the money. I added some weight by adding a bit more hockey tape to the handle then i normally would. Personal preference.
