Amazing product!
Absolutely incredible product. I have Crohns, and although it is managed through prescription medication, I would still have flare ups. Sometimes I knew what would cause a flare up, such as a very stressful event. I started looking for alternative ways to help my body, and found that peppermint was showing some positive results. I decided to give Doctor MK's IBS relief supplement a try - and I can not say enough great things about it! Since starting about 9 months ago, I have not had any flare-ups. I take one capsule a day, at night. If I am going into a stressful event or something that could trigger a flare up, I will take one in the morning and one at night. No Crohns flare-ups, no stomach issues - absolutely love these capsules. I can not say enough positive things about the capsules, and feel that they have given me my life back. One tip - make sure you take them with plenty of water. Some of the reviews say the capsules gave "peppermint burps". I had that happen a few times, typically when I took them without enough water.

Helped me! Totally worth a try.
I bought this and have been taking it for 4 days after I found drinking mint tea to be helping me feel better. I have been having major gut/digestion issues. Dr.s have taken me off dairy, gluten and the only thing that has worked is totally going off call carbs, uggg! But that stopped the getting sick. Still my gut felt horrible. I got this as a last resort and so far I love it! I am using it with anti-gas meds and have not felt this good in weeks. Please know I am also doing other things with my diet that have been helping, too, but I strongly feel this is helping with the cramping and horrible gut feeling. I take one with each meal. It, being mint, is a bit of an odd feeling inside, like you swallowed an Altoid. Kind of 'cold' on the inside, I guess, is how to say it?They have an almost vanilla flavor in your mouth when taking them and are not hard to swallow.I think if you are in uncomfortable tummy trouble that these are totally worth trying. I can't speak to them making your digestion better but, for me, they have really helped with the cramping and pain. The 'cool' feeling in the tummy is not bothering at all, just something to note. It kinda feels good!If this helps I also recommended it to my mom, too.Good luck and feel better!PS- If my issues sound like yours look up "yeast in the gut" and see if that might fit you. I am following it and finding it helpful.

Cheaper then IB GUARD
Pills have a funny taste. Only been using 3 days not sure of the effectiveness at this time. Will update after longer term. Right now it seems to work not quite as well as the more expensive IV GUARD. Didn't get the peppermint aftertaste in my mouththough like IB. Good value pills per price8/14/21After a week and adding one pill in the AM I can pretty much say these pills work pretty good. Mind u not a cure but really for me they cut down the issues of my body insides .

Not sure what to think.
Well at this point it's a Idk.I'm not sure if it does anything at all.I can say 2 things. Sometimes I can take 2 and it almost goes right through me. Actual burn sensation while using the bathroom. Also I just noticed that 2 dlod the ib guard equals 400 mg of peppermint and one of these equals 362 mg, which means the recommendation of 2 is almost twice of the other brand. So I starting to take one at a time. Will update after some time.

Work's well for me.
I waited to review this product to ensure I had enough experience with it to write an objective review. It appears most of the people submitting reviews are using it to treat IBS, it's intended use. In my case, I use it to help with diverticulosis. My GI doc recommended IBGuard to help with issues I was having with pain from sites where I had diverticulitis flareups. He said the pain is most likely from scar tissue at the site and IBGuard would relax the colon and provide relief. This is exactly what happened and I couldn't be happier, except for one thing. The price of IBGuard is over the top. I purchased this as a potential lower cost option based on the reviews from other users and am happy to report I get the same results from this product as I do from IBGuard.

Awesome Product for fighting Constant and Persistent Diarrhea
I cannot say enough good things about this product. I have suffered from gastro issues for almost 20 yrs, during any given week I would have diarrhea at least 3 times if not more and prescribed medications did nothing to relieve the problem. Someone told me about IBGard and while researching it on Amazon I found this with good reviews and a lower price, win-win. I have been using now for three weeks and have only had one instance of diarrhea while using which lasted only a day. I take just once a day during a meal, typically lunch. I found that taking it while eating helps with the peppermint flavor and burping that some people complained about. I think that eating some of a meal and then ingesting this and then covering with more food helps with that, in my non-medical opinion LOL. If you suffer from constant and persistent diarrhea then give this a try, I was not disappointed!!!

One heck of a lot of peppermint oil
I tried these for a non-specific IBS.The capsules had some effect, not entirely good.If you puncture one capsule (carefully, with eye and face protection!!), I think that you may see why. A hint of the oil inside on a spoon (1/16" flat drop) is enough to make an overpoweringly strong mint drink when diluted by two cups of liquid, and I love peppermint. I think some of my resulting GI upset that I had is from the large slug of peppermint oil in each capsule inflaming the sensitive lining of my GI tract.Bottom line: it did not work for me as an IBS treatment, but makes a great mint flavoring agent...
