Will this work for left handed users? I have a feeling it wont.

Yes! I carry this in my left pocket and my knife and leatherman in my right pocket. In fact it has never done anything but be left handed for me.

I own several Streamlight flashlights and have for the past 20+ years. Streamlight is and has been located in Eagleville, PA since 1973. Their flashlights are predominantly manufactured in the US, though some of their charger components are manufactured in China and their NiCd cells are made in France. They are very reliable and repairable. Not disposable like most things these days.

Is the battery replaceable if it eventually won't hold a charge?

No. It has no visible screws. Maybe streamlight will replace it within warranty but i wouldn't count on it

Is it 500 lumens regularly or 300? The site says 500, this says 300

It says it has 300 lumens but has a THRO (temporarily heightened regulated output) that gives 1000 lumens in a 35 second burst.
