What makes this product great is the thickness- thicker than tomato sauce.This works great when you want to cook several large batches. When I open one of these cans, I make enchilada sauce, trays of lasagne, bean or meat stews, spaghetti sauce- usually several on the same day. If you are not up to a day of cooking, you can refrigerate or freeze the remainder. I haven’t had any problems.
