Im extremely tech savvy, as I own a digital marketing firm and I’m an social media influencer and also an amazon influencer, therefore my reviews have to be 100 percent honest. The product description does not in anyway describe it correctly. I re read it just in case and no where does it state I needed to buy an SD card and purchase these insane amount of plans for cloud storage. You seriously could get the leading product in this category for the exact same price you end up paying for this one in the long run. I’m extremely disappointed in the camera quality, the voice talk back, the product itself is a disappointment. In my professional opinion it should be removed from amazon or they should be forced to put in the description what I have stated they left out. Also I’ll throw in that the majority of the 5 star reviews (not all, but most) were more than likely given the product for free while it was in beta testing mode, as those reviews are super old.KD

I don't normally take the time to leave Amazon reviews, but I'm so impressed with this little monitor I just had to share my experience!I've been needing a baby monitor for the times my baby is napping, but I'd like to be out working in my garden. I figured a monitor that could stream video to my smart phone would be ideal. So I ordered this monitor, and received it sooner than I'd expected.Not only that, but I had it set up and running literally within minutes of taking it out of the package. The video is in color and includes sound. I can even speak to my baby through the monitor with a touch of a button on my phone's screen! Having the video streamed to my phone is so convenient, and I was relieved to see that it works seamlessly with my Android.As if this monitor isn't awesome enough, soon after ordering it I received an email from the seller offering help if I had any questions and the gentleman responded to my question in a matter of moments.I could not be happier with this purchase! I'm thinking not only does everyone need one of these monitors, but more than one wouldn't hurt either!***Edit*** I want to add that the fact that this camera can function as a motion sensitive security camera is pretty cool. I noticed some reviewers assuming that because the app is called "Clever Dog" this camera is meant to monitor dogs and not babies. I don't know if this is true, but I'm guessing it's called Clever Dog because it functions as a watch dog over wherever you set it. ...and like a clever dog, it let's you know when it notices something you might like to know about. It even has an option of setting it so there's a "barking" sound effect alarm that will go off if the camera detects motion, and yes, the sound comes out of the actual camera, you know, like a dog ;) . This would be an excellent way to deter intruders if a person set this camera up with the intention of using it as a security camera. Anyway, I don't think this camera was made for dogs, but hey, I may be wrong.

I just got this. I followed the directions and this thing progressed completely. I had no trouble until the very end when waiting to see the picture. The camera was plugged into the corner of a large room recently added to the house, which is now just under 5000 SF. Our router is upstairs toward the front of the house. This was to go in a downstairs bedroom, about midway.I took the camera to the bedroom and plugged it in. I hit the semi-circular arrow and camera connected immediately. This is a large 2 story home of about 5000 sf and still, this camera works. If you hate setting things up, and frying your brain, this is your camera.Now, I can't say how it will do long term, I'll try to get back here if I can.Overall, I'm happy.I did NOT get this free or at a discount! Or to test for an honest review.....you know the story. This an old fashioned " I bought this myself, with no deals" review.And I am thinking about buying a second, as back up.

We bought this to replace our Motorola Monitor that died. It was a little funky to set up but I got it after about 15/20 minutes of realizing its easier than I thought. I love that it has the option of an App to view the monitor. That way we can have it on multiple devices. You install the camera by setting up an account and connecting to your Wi-Fi. Once connected it creates its own Wi-Fi and thats what you use to view the camera. We have the App installed on all our phones and on our iPad. So whenever and wherever we are in the house we can keep an eye on our little good.I was intially under the impression you could view this even when you were not at your house but I guess you can't. Even still it is a great product for kids. You can set it to alert your phone or tablet when something moves (I.E your child crawling out of bed). Cool features, small device, Big payout!

The only reason we got this camera was because we figured that just because it was cheaper didn’t necessarily mean it was bad but we were so wrong. There just isn’t any quality. The camera is fairly easy to set-up but that’s probably the only nice thing I can say. The motion detection notifications stopped working after about a month, the camera randomly goes offline or just fails to connect and you have to go in and physically reset the camera for it to work again, it doesn’t let you watch the video stream from 2 devices at once, and the night vision is always on unless the room is really bright. Overall, it works if you want to keep getting out of bed to go wake your baby while resetting the camera. Save your time, money, and patience.

Received in mail, and worked great the first day. On the second day of usage, it completely stopped working. Wouldn't even turn on.
