These are great gloves. It's that simple. They're comfortable and when I pull something out of the oven (baking sheets, casseroles, etc.), there's no heat at all.Furthermore, the grip is confident and secure, much like shaking hands with an honest banker (think about that one for a while).Anyhoo, these are great. If I remember, I'll give an update to these.

Protected hands from very high heat 500-600 degrees. Gloves run very small, ended up using them as a hot pad. Will give to wife with much smaller hands.

This Doopo BBQ grilling glove offers a long (up your forearm) sleeve. (See photo) It's made from a dense material yet has extreme finger flexibility. We all know traditional oven mitts are stiff and make you feel like you have bear paws. Not to mention traditional oven mitts aren't truly washable; the filling pretty much collapses. You toss it after one washing. This Doopo glove on the other hand, has excellent grip, (see photo) including durability with washing.Although, this glove works beautifully as a BBQ glove, it might be useful for someone who could use it for hot hair appliances such as a flat iron, or curling irons. Easily used by lefties or right-handed cooks. They included a loop for hanging up too. I think this highly heat resistant glove is a hit! Hopefully the listing will be updated soon to reflect 1 piece rather than 1 pair.Heat Resistance and Cuff:As far as holding up to heat, this is great. I have mostly been using it as an oven mitt. I never feel any kind of heat when holding a pan coming out of the oven that's up to 500 degrees. My husband has been using it when grilling. He wears it when using utensils to flip food, and reaching into the grill pit to move coals around to get an even flame. He was very impressed with how well it stands up to heat, and appreciative that it protected his lower arm. He did end up accidentally touching the area just above his wrist on the grill rim. The extended cuff on the glove saved him from what would have likely been a bad burn.Quality and Fit:Fit-wise this is okay. I do like that you can wear it on either hand without issue, but it's a bit bulky. The thickness is obviously necessary for protection from the heat, but it can make it a little difficult to get a good grip. I have fairly long fingers so the fingers on the glove fit me fine. My husband has shorter fingers and the glove fingers are quite long for him, which affects dexterity. Quality-wise this seems great so far. I could wear them and still feel some control using my hands. Can't comment on durability because the dog stole it and chewed off one of the fingers because it had meat juices on it.

These gloves are a little big for a woman's hands, but keep you nice and cool when cooking on the BBQ or over the campfire. I hope the manufacturer will make smaller sizes in the future, men are not the only ones to cook outdoors.
