I love this fan to bits. I will start using this to defend myself in school and in my everyday life. The price is great and the metal and fabric is very nice. The only thing I ask for the company is to thicken the metal on the fan because it's really bendable.

I have been practicing with fans for a few months. My last set of fans were worn down from constant use, but they are still very study, but heavy. This fan is lighter buts also a little flimsy , so i got what i paid for.

I order this for my girlfriend for Christmas who takes martial arts with me and she loves it the sound it creates when opened is dynamic and my instructor approves of it.definitely for a Kung Fu practioner of the fan excellent item and strong as well. The steel is authentic and is very solid definitely can be used in combat. I highly recommend this item to anyone learning martial arts especially Kung Fu it is definitely worth it

Excellent practice fan. The only issue was the emblems, I had to take them off and re-glue them as the original glue was melting. A little messy however the fan folds perfectly.

I bought this fan for my Tai Chi class. This fan is beautiful and very strong. When I open it, the sound is powerful and loud. Because it is made of stainless steel, it is going to last for a long time. I love it. This fan may be a little too heavy for small children. I definetly recommend it to any one other than small children.

The fan was and quality was quite good. I have one problem with it though, where it is fastened at the bottom, it was a bit slack making the fan a bit wobbly.

I bought this for my son who now takes Chinese and has become obsessed with Chinese culture. His class learned a martial arts fan dance and he wanted an authentic martial arts fan. This fan is HEAVY! Lol. Really beautiful. NOT for fanning yourself. Lol. More for decor and martial arts for sure. Really worth the money. Good quality.

My daughter uses these in practice and in competition for Tao Kwan Do - wonderful snap when open - a little heavy but she can manage them .
