Be careful with this product. Once the warranty is over (only 1year) you’re on your own for any service. KWS won’t even recommend service shops. If you are not in the Santa Fe Springs area, you can’t find service. Only one year old and machine won’t turn on and KWS offers no solution other than “find a local repair shop”.

Perfect for our moderate use. Bought this for less than what I was quoted for just a new motor to repair our Hobart slicer.I don't think this would be a good choice for heavy use in a deli setting. The motor does get warm after about an hour straight of slicing and you can feel it through the housing.A couple things we didn't like. You have to remove the blade to adequately clean. The guard that keeps food from flying out the back is attached with screws. The blade and the guard that keeps food from flying out the back had two different types of screws. A trip to the hardware store to get phillips screws for the food guard fixed the issue. The feet are hard plastic that allows the slicer to move around. We wish the cord was bit more flexible.We never attached the clear plastic guard.Overall we are very satisfied.

Awesome product packaging really great. Not much setup good to go out of the box. Feet could be more gripping. Also a bit bigger than I thought.
