What a great product. Made Christmas cookies substituting Cambie's for regular vanilla and the aroma while baking was just the beginning. These cookies are the best batch EVER! Attention all bakers: Cambie Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Paste is a must in you kitchen.

I can't really rate this product on flavor because the bottle of vanilla arrived damaged and so I very regrettably have to throw this beautiful product into the garbage. :( The paste is a very thick consistency, packed with beans, and smells wonderful. I will try one more time to buy this product from Amazon, and hopefully this next time it doesn't arrive damaged.

I. Read about this product and decided to try it. I will not go back to liquid vanilla extract. There is no comparison when it comes to the flavor of Cambie's vanilla paste. I am now ordering the 16oz. size.

I just received this (on time) and I absolutely love it! Great vanilla bean taste without the bitterness of the alcohol in extract. Also, the added benefit of the vanilla seeds which makes your baked goods look like you used the whole vanilla bean. When I need this again I will surely use this seller.

I put the other paste directly on yogurt (Massey), but this brand is not palatable in the same direct flavoring kind of way. It has an unpleasant overtone, whereas the other has a warm vanilla scent and taste. I haven't tasted this brand in cooking yet, but my guess is that it's simply not for raw consumption like the other brand is (icings vs baked goods). I'll save it for cooked items, but the jar will probably end up eventually migrating to the back of my cupboard.

Extremely dissatisfied. I had to use a disproportionately large amount of this to achieve a recognizably vanilla flavor in both the cupcakes and frosting. Will not buy this again, not just this brand but I'm skeptical about using any paste again, it seems too costly for what can be easily achieved with pure vanilla extract.The flavor of this is just terrible. You have to use soooo much and it leaves a bad after taste. So disappointed.

There is not much to like about this product for those who are used to other brands. Most notably, this paste has a sweet taste, which isn't surprising because the label says the first ingredient is "invert sugar", meaning liquid sugar. The second ingredient is water. The ratios of both ingredients to the rest are high enough to account for the low vanilla content, in my opinion. I will not buy it again.

I am a Chef and when I came across this item on Amazon, I couldn't wait to try it. It arrived on Tuesday before Thanksgiving so I used it in my, " Jack Daniels Pecan Pie". It has a robust flavor, full body and a syrup like consistency, which is perfect to add to any recipe. An amazing product.
