Two-sided kitchen sponges by Lysol have been my stand-by for years. I trust the brand and feel they were no doubt more hygienic than other brands and I can testify that they never smelled. However, they no longer seem to be available and I was surprised when an off-brand version of the product arrived in my delivery as a substitution. Nevertheless, on use, the Scrubex version appears to be sturdy and is so far keeping it's promise to be odor-resistant. It's packaging also states that the sponges are anti-microbial so this claim that they are resistant to the growth of mold an bacteria helps me be more confident with this product change.

I was hoping these would be similar to the ocedar foam dish scrubbers but they are much different. The scrub side is so rough it’s like sand paper and the sponge part is too squishy. It’s like trying to wash dishes with a make up sponge. The poor quality forced me to use much more dish soap. They do work well for bathroom cleaning as the sand paper side scrubs off any build up you could imagine as if you were scrubbing with sand paper.

These work like a discontinued brand I used all the time. They are for stainless steel pots and the like. They work as well as the steel or copper scrubbers but the sponge on these protects your fingers and holds soap better. Please, please, please do not use this on your teflon pans or glassware then complain that they scratched. Buy a scrubber that says it's non-scratch. These are heavy duty for heavy duty jobs and are great for that!

These sponges are exactly what they say they are! No odor ever! The scrub portion could be a bit more aggressive but I still think they’re great. All I use these days.

Do your sponges start smelling even after a week? Do you try rinsing them and getting everything out so they don't smell, but it happens anyway? YOU. NEED. THESE. You need these in your life. I used to buy the brands at the grocery store and I would be standing there at the sink after doing dishes, rinsing and rinsing... and rinsing some more, you get the idea. To no avail, I always had an issue. These don't smell. Ever. I still try to get out what I can, I feel like it may prolong the life of each sponge? I found the Lysol brand that advertised "Odor Resistant". I was a non-believer but decided to give them a try. They worked!! And then they were unavailable, because sometimes that is how life goes. Then these came up on my Amazon recommended items. They were like a Beacon of Light, I swear there was music. I bought them so fast, I was giddy with excitement and even paid the $2.99 to get them TODAY. Guys, you'll never look back.

They do not get an odor.. 2nd time purchasing them...

These truly do last a long time, do not stink.
