Very sturdy, well made scooper. The mechanism to clear the dough/ice cream is sturdy. I got this because the smaller version seemed too small for cookies (but GREAT size for fillings), but this one seems too big for cookies. I’m keeping it though because it’s so well made and it will definitely be great for ice cream. I’m going to try using this scoop for cookie dough but then halving the scooped dough - I think that will be the perfect size cookie.

Isn't build strong enough to scoop tougher ice cream, ice cream sticks to it surface as well. Though, don't know of an ice cream scoop that doesn't share these issues.

Brought this for wife who has poor grip she is extremely pleased it it and says it work well

It is very, very small. Guess I had better get out the measuring tape before I order a bigger one. Quality seems good.
