I really enjoy this tender, thin sliced biltong. The original is quite tasty, but they also sell various other flavors as well. Every one is tender and savory, while some flavors are spicy.

This is a good option for low carb dieters looking for snack options. If you're a genuine authentic biltong lover (as I am), I'm not sure that this will do it for you. It's more like an Americanized version of it than of true African biltong. This doesn't mean that it's a terrible snack. The flavors are decent, the texture is decent and the size of the pieces are...decent. The spicy wasn't very spicy at all. As someone who sprinkles ghost pepper flakes on her food, it's not that surprising that I didn't find it spicy. Surprisingly the salsa verde was my favorite flavor. You get an immediate salsa verde scent as soon as you open the bag. Interestingly enough, the taste matched very closely to the scent. I was surprised because when I first saw it, I thought salsa verde flavored biltong would be kinda gross. If you're a true jerky lover this might not be for you. My husband is more of a jerky person. I had him try this and he was not a fan. He said it was too thin and the texture too weird for him. I gave it 4 Stars because I think it's a good snacking option for low carb/keto dieters. There's nothing that I think anyone would hate about this but there's also nothing that I think would bowl anyone over.

The 5 flavors that they show are no longer what ships. Rather than the blue original flavor, they are sending this garbage Salt, Pepper, and Coriander flavor which is barely edible and full of fat. Save your money

I get these for every international trip

The meat is in shreds and is very thin, rubbery, and flavorless. Huge disappointment. I would rather have Jack Links honestly (gross). Each bag had at least two inedible pieces in it as well, which were impossible to chew and had to be spit out. I very rarely leave reviews on Amazon, and am a daily shopper for nearly 20 years. This one forced my hand.

Nothing special, the flavor of the seasoning doesn’t last long leaving you with the taste of flavorless meat. Which doesn’t really break up. You end up just gulping it down once you are tired of chewing it. Wouldn’t buy again.

Love this jerky. Good quality, taste, and healthy. Flavors are great and not overwhelming.
