Flox 'Deer and Deer and Deer Oh My!' Rubber Coasters (Blue)

Ordered this pack of rubber coaster after our dog ate the last cork coasters we had. These rubber coasters have a really neat design and they are a good size for our larger coffee mugs. They are made from 100% recycled rubber which is neat and Eco friendly. Not to mention they are made in the USA. A friend asked us where we got these from so they do start a conversation but most people won't know they are made from recycled rubber unless you tell them.The only reason I couldn't give these 5 stars is due to their size. Our older cork coasters were great thin and large. Even if your iced tea was accidentally left sit on the table overnight the water (condensation) would be contained to the coaster. With these rubber coasters they are about 1/4 inch thick so if you don't have the cup on the coaster completely it will fall over. They aren't as big around as I was hoping and the painted rubber allows water to lay on them and run off. So this could be considered good or bad. The coaster do just what they should keep the water / water ring off the wooden table and they don't soak up the water and become soggy or wet with water. Just may have to wipe off the water. Overall they worked well and the designs are great which is the main reason we bought them.

Great quality coasters that feature some great design work. If there was one flaw, I'd have to say that they're a little slippery. I'll have to be careful with what kind of glasses I put on them.

These are adorable and do what they say. They are not absorbent, so the water sits on top of the coaster, but better there than on my furniture.

Love these. They look just like the picture, and in fact are a little more vibrant than what the picture is. The material is a rubber cork-like, but thick and sturdy. These are at my work desk as I tend to have a waterbottle and sometimes coffee at the same time, and I hate getting condensation on my actual desk. Would recommend.

Not absorbent at all, so the condensation just pools on the coaster. But they're cute and the design doesn't scratch, flake, or peel.

Super cute! The surface design is kind of thick & slick so some condensation sits on top rather than absorbs but it hasn't been enough to cause problems.

I love these things. They don't stick to my wet glass and they are thick enough to keep condensation off of the wood furniture. The colors are very rich and each coaster is slightly different, but they are all clearly a set.

These things are pretty enough, but they are actually the opposite of absorbent. Liquids pool on the surface and roll off when you move them. Spend your money on something else.
