This electric lighter is perfect. I am scared of fire so I hate to light matches or lighters, so this tool allows me to light my candles. Once the candle is lit the fire doesn't bother me. I know that sounds weird. But this allows me to use all those candles people bought me over the years. Its easy to use and I feel safe using it. Clicks on and off. Worth the purchase.

love this thing! i got sick of regular stick lighters simply not lighting even when they were full. sometimes they'd work, sometimes they wouldn't. after a small mishap with a hedgehog cake (40 quills/candles not being lit quickly enough because one of our two stick lighters decided to take a break) this item finally went from my wishlist into my cart. when it arrived i instantly loved it! the electric current (or whatever it is) lights up immediately when pressing the button, and the candle wicks light so much quicker with this than with traditional flame lighters. i love that it's rechargeable so i won't need to replace it regularly, though i do plan to get a second to leave upstairs.

I wish I would have bought one of these a long time ago. I replaced a refillable gas candle lighter that was always a pain and very hard to refill. This one is simple and works great. It does not create smoke or put black smudges inside pillar candles. You can reach down easily to light them even when they have burned down. It holds a charge a long time. I did have to charge it when it arrived, but it charges quickly. I gave one as a gift because I like mine so much.

Loved it when I first got it, but it doesn't charge. I couldn't even charge it ONCE after the charge died the first time. Only after this happened did I find another review saying the same thing.

Great for lighting the fire especially if you're a little afraid of fire. You can't use a newer cable like a USB C to USB C cable because it will not charge you'll have to use a USB A to USB C cable.
