This is a great looking knight's outfit. For the price, the quality is excellent and it looks sharp when fully assembled. The size chart is right on and a size small fit my son perfectly with some room to grow. He is in the 6-8 range and this should fit most kids in this age range comfortably. It is a little stretchy so it can likely fit a lot of different body types.I would store this gently as I think most of the damage to this will be done when it is tossed around in a bin or bag. Once on, we didn't have any issues with it falling apart or any threads getting frayed. The belt is a little cheap, but doable. I would swap out the belt with any leather belt you have laying around or a rope maybe. My son didn't want to wear the boots or arm greaves, but they both look good when on. The boot covers are probably a little too baggy for most kids in the small size range, but a few paper clips would make it a quick fix on the fly.I highly recommend this outfit.****This does not come with a shield and sword**** Still worth it for the price and most kids ditch the shield fast anyway.For a school event, I recently paired this sword with a kids knight helmet and kid's knight armor if you were interested in a good looking full Knight set that fit perfect for a 6 to 8 year old. - Liontouch Sword Collection foam sword- LOOYAR Kids Toy Middle Ages Medieval Crusader Knight- Kid's Valiant Knight Costume

Not super durable the silver fabric pulls really easy and the elastic that (I think) hooks under the shoes for the leg cuffs snapped after just awhile of walking outside but overall I just needed it as a Halloween costume and it served its purpose so it's all good and it arrived in a timely manner I think it was like the next day or two days after I ordered which was great and the tunic was super long but I think I just ordered a bit big, easy fix just tucked it inside and put the belt on. Overall not not terrible it's a nice looking costume just not durable for like dress up or anything would be fine for a play or Halloween.

Other reviewers weren't kidding when they said just a tiny snag on the wrong thing (including the velcro that's on the wrist cuffs), causes the "chain mail" material to unravel. It really does snag easily. My son tried it on the night we got it, and in the 5 minutes he wore it, two places on the chain mail material got snagged on something and unraveled. He'll have to be very careful on Halloween not to brush up against anything rough. The chain mail is made from a woven silver metallic-looking material...the threads remind me of tinsel like you'd use on a Christmas tree. It looks great, but isn't going to be very durable long-term.Size-wise, the medium (8-10) fits him very well with lots of room to spare, without being too big. He's a tall but very thin just-turned-8-yr-old: 53" and around 60 lbs. The shoulders of the tunic are roomy and it's long enough without being too long; the sleeves are also long enough (they're 3/4-length sleeves with wrist cuffs that fit over them). The wrist cuffs are a tiny bit too big for him, but not so much that they don't stay on. I just have to watch the velcro patch on them that it doesn't snag on the "chain mail" sleeves.Included in this set is: the tunic with 3/4 sleeves, belt, headpiece, wrist cuffs, and leg cuffs that I think are supposed to look like tall black boots when worn over black shoes. You have to supply the shoes and the pants yourself. We are using black thermal long-johns for the pants, and black shoes.

Sizing is very large. Ordered a 4-6 for my almost 5 year old. The boots were too big for me! The shirt was like a dress to his ankles. The head dressing was a perfect fit but by the time he grows into the rest, it’ll be too small.

My 5 year old loves this. It looks pretty cute on him, the xs is a little loose but I much prefer that to it being tight. For reference, my son is on the husky side, 43" tall, 46lbs & normally wears 5t-6 or XS in clothes. The sleeves are a good length, the tunic comes to his knees, the gauntlets are kinda big for him. The "chainmail" is a little itchy and has started fraying after a couple days of wear (he doesn't care). Overall, I'm really pleased, price was reasonable for the quality & my son really likes it.

The costume looks good and fits well.We are disappointed about the shipping. We ordered two for our two boys and only one arrived on time. It was supposed to be next day delivery and they changed the other one to three days away. This would be too late for the event we were attending so we had to find another outfit for our second son. The item still is set to overnight delivery on Amazon. Just because it says overnight , it may not always be overnight.
