We had a similar model for approx 3 years, and that one had to have the outdoor temp station re-charged with a cable to a computer/TV etc. This model uses batteries in both the base station and outdoor station, but so far so good! (Exact same product, just updated) Very pleased.

The sensor is rechargeable with its cable that comes with it. It lasted a good several months before needing a charge. Had to reset it and relink it but it was quick and fast to reconnect. I’ve attached the small unit to the bathroom mirror with 3m velcro so i can see it every day before dressing according to the weather. I have yet to see how it will do in the winter but im hopeful. I would recommend this simple and effective tool.

Precaución al tomar las medidas con los aparatos en la mano o alguna fuente de calor-frio o humedad cercana a cada aparato, pues la medición se basa en una pequeña succión de aire de los alrededores, la temperatura de la mano puede alterar la medición mientras se le manipula.
