Last week, I couldn't walk down the driveway without the stench from my garbage bin making my eyes water, so I washed it. Disgusting job, never again! I bought these garbage bags to line my bin with, so it doesn't get re-contaminated with all of the loose garbage that my family will inevitably throw inside. They're gigantic - my husband and I joked about them being body bags so of course I climbed inside to see if i can fit- and it turns my husband and I can BOTH fit inside one of these bags. They're the biggest garbage bags I've ever seen! Tip: If you're using these as bin liners, you will need to purchase elastics or devise something to keep the bag attached to the bin, otherwise it will fall into the bin as soon as you put anything in it. Gravity's a hassle. At $50 for 50 bags, this is a yearly supply of bags for me as my garbage is picked up weekly. $1 a week to not have to smell/clean putrid decaying garbage is worth every penny! These bags aren't super thick, you certainly couldn't fill them and then transport them as they would certainly rip. BUT they're thick enough to serve as garbage bin liners. I've used them for two weeks now, and so far so good - my can is still clean and doesn't stink. Potential uses for garbage bags this big: Transporting bodies (haha) Lining garbage bins Covering furniture/floors for art projects/painting Wind breaks for new trees Tobogganing Covering trunk of SUV (i have a big dog) Costumes Makeshift rain poncho Hairdressing cape ... These bags have turned out to be quite useful to have on hand, and I'm especially pleased with how well they're working as bin liners. They come as 10 rolls of 5 bags in a big heavy box, so they're a bit awkward to store, but they come off of the rolls easily and open easily too. I will buy these again once my box runs out, I'm very pleased with them overall.

I was packing up furniture that was a sectional and was able to use these to protect things and keep them clean and these came in really handy although they were expensive. I think it was worth it.!

I had to buy these huge bags because my trash men wouldn't empty my can otherwise. I have a trashcan that I only use for yard waste. I just throw it in the can as I pick it up or empty the pool baskets and put it out when it gets full hoping it can be picked up with the recycling without using another plastic bag which defeats the purpose IMO. Well it didn't work, they wouldn't empty it with the normal trash because it was recyclables, and they wouldn't empty it with the recycling because they assumed it was normal trash and never opened the lid. Anyway, these liners are great and seem capable of holding ~50lbs. of sticks and leaves without breaking. Like other posters I had to put a bungie around the can to hold the bag, but that's OK.
