This kind of product must last at least 5 years since there are no serious technique or mechanism. By choosing a wrong material for the plastic, or glue, it stopped working in 2 years. The soft cushion was peeled out and lost, the phone supporting feet were broken out. Under the hot sun light, the parts may lose its property so degraded. Need more care while manufacturing.

Bought this to mount an older iPod to the counter in our rv. Works perfectly. Just drove over the Sierras and it stayed exactly in place.At first I thought the neck was hard plastic and wouldn't bend. But it bent to exactly the angle I needed and stayed there.

I really like this phone holder as it has a a catch at the bottom so that the phone does not slide through. The catch allows me to slide the phone in and out easily without adjusting the grip. I just grip the phone and lift it vertically.I bought one for my wife and she is pleased as well.

When you put the phone on it and drive, it shakes excessively

This was an awesome product at least i thought it was.. until about less than a month in and it won't grip my phone anymore! It starts to slide down! Hopefully they fix this problem
