Our daughter has had bowel issues for some long time. I understand there are a lot of other children with this issue, having to change their underwear so often. An ND suggested using rinds OF grapefruit and oranges for the problem...That sounded like a lot of work to even make it and then to get it consumed.... i looked online for a product that would use these items. This was closest i could find, and i believe it is doing the job....no accidents or rare accidents and keeping bed dry all night. I am getting low and want another bottle! Well worth the cost.

Clav is a brand I have not heard of until now. They are a German company, and all their products are made and manufactured in Germany. Clav uses recycled amber glass for their supplements reducing their environmental footprint. It also keeps the supplements fresher longer. This Citrus Bioflavonoid supplement is made from natural plant compounds of bitter (sour ) orange and grapefruit peels. These nutrients offer antioxidant anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and anti bacterial benefits and support your immune system. According to the CLav website this supplement is non-GMO, Organic, produced in a cGMP facility in Germany. The supplements are lab tested however It does not specify if that is 3rd party tested. All these point are great transparency and gives me a lot of confidence that this Clav Citrus Bioflavonoid was worth a good try. I found the capsules easy to swallow. I did however take these with food as I always have a sensitive digestive system. The cost is very reasonable for a 1 month supply of this high quality supplement. I did not have any issues related to needing the benefit of this particular supplement so it's not something I can 100% declare I felt the benefits. One thing I did learn is that this particular supplement of bioflavonoid "could" interact with any pharmaceuticals you are taking so I highly recommend you consult with your Doctor or Naturopath before taking this supplement.

This claims to be orange and grapefruit extracts with your standard methylcellulose filler. I believe it as that is what I taste, yes I generally open up caps to see if they taste like metals or other strange things. That said, no ill effects at all. With antioxidants, you cant tell if they are working like taking an aspirin so based on the taste, I know it is most likely what they claim. My regular brand does not taste as fruity and has a very similar formula. I like the brown glass bottle, I'll be keeping that when they are empty. Vegan, lactose free, GF, and made in Germany. It is only a one month supply and the price is above average for this type of product, for this, I am removing one star.

The ingredients are commonly found together citrus based that all have claims to be antioxidants . I find confusing that on the Amazon site for this product that the "Primary Supplement Type" is stated as Magnesium yet nothing on the label or the rest of the site mention magnesium. Accurate ingredients are important to those that may. have recommendations from their doctor to take a supplement. I am not a doctor, nor in the medical field, but I would make sure that if you should notify your doctor of all the vitamins, supplements and drugs that you are taking so they can determine if there are any negative/unwanted interactions. I found the capsule easy to swallow, had no smell or flavor.
