Single pane glass only.
Magnet isn’t strong enough to go through a double pane window. Single no problem.

Works on single pane windows
This is well made, it's painted well and has padding on the surfaces that will touch your window. The single drawback is that the halves are placed on each side of the window so that it appears the bird is flying through the window, BUT, it won't work on double pane windows; they're too thick for the magnets to work.

This just came in and was boxed taped, thick foam molded to fit bird packing ! Excellent condition . Strong magnet no worries about falling off of window. I LOVE this and want more ;)
