These are great knives at an excellent price
So sharp! These are great knives at an excellent price. I like that they are one solid pice if steel. I use them on a wooden cutting board to maintain a clean edge. The sharperner they come with is a nice quick way to put an edge on as well.

We have two of these, and they are the only knives we need in our kitchen. We cook almost every night and we love them! It's really nice being able to balance the knife on it's side so you don't dull the blade, and they've really held up well.

Nice knife but had some scratches and rust or something so I had to return.

The knife seemed quite dull when it arrived
The knife seemed quite dull when it arrived, far more dull than the 8 yr old knife we bought this to replace. The design is excellent, very sturdy and fits well in the hand, but I have more trouble cutting bread with a hard crust than I did with our previous, cheaper bread knife. A disappointing result, and more so because I sent a message to Schmidt Bros asking if it could be sharpened and have yet to receive a response after a couple of weeks.
