Cannot be used as tabletop lighted tree alone....MUST KEEP MUSIC PLAYING
Absolutely adorable HOWEVER, it is impossible to use as a lighted tabletop decoration WITHOUT music playing over and over and over. Whoever engineered it should have put a third position switch. San Francisco Music Box factory WAS held in high esteem by me but what happened here and why didn't they repair design flaw? Such a shame that I had to send it back.

Was ok, just not as nice as one would hope.
Functions fine, just a little cheaper made than I was hoping. Still all and all they delivered as advertised and it wasn't broken.

I am happy with it. It has a switch on the side, plays 8 songs, and seems well made. I have no regrets on buying it.

Horrible Sound Quality
I love this item. It is cute and sturdy. The only problem is that you cannot have the lights on without the music. This is a major design flaw since the music is horrible - the sound is low quality and too loud. I ended up prying the battery pack off and disconnecting the speaker. Now I love it.
