I just got a bottle and it is quite watered down. First time using the product. It does lather nicely though.

what ismeant by smelling fresh?

That's a good question. This is a replacement for another product they used to sell and I had purchased for years. I used this new shampoo once and threw it in the trash because I thought it smelled awful.
