Long Handheld Shower Hose 78 inches X 6.5 feet Stainless Steel Replacement with Chrome Finish - Detachable Extension Adapter with Brass Fitting

I bought this shower hose because it was literally the cheapest one ($8!!) I could find on Amazon that was at least 6 feet long. (For anybody who failed 3rd grade math, 78 inches=6½ feet.) I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package to install it that the end washers are actually solid metal, as are the links that sheath the house... At this price, I was honestly expecting (and would have been mostly satisfied with) chrome-painted plastic, so I am very pleased.I installed this hose along with a new diverter (which *is* only chrome painted plastic,) to add a handheld to a bathroom that previously only had a fixed showerhead. The hose was very easy to install with just hand tightening the nuts at each end. (YMMV, depending on the state of your own plumbing fixtures.) The little black rubber washers/gaskets for preventing leaks were glued to the end of the house, so there was no need to fumble around with them. (When installing new shower on previous occasions, I've dropped the aforementioned washers and lost them down a drain at least twice before.)Honestly, I couldn't be more pleased with the combination of decent quality and great price. (Seriously... This hose would cost at least $30 is you bought it at a neighborhood hardware store.)My only gripe about this was the packaging... It came package in over of those awful plastic clamshell security packages. I can see that the cardboard insert has an Amazon barcode on it (not a UPC,) so this product is packaged to be sold exclusively on Amazon, not to be hung on a faceout at a hardware store. There's no way to describe this type of packaging but wasteful and hazardous to open, and it's completely unnecessary. It doesn't bother me enough to want to send it back or give it fewer than 5 stars, but since this is already a great deal, imagine what an even better deal it could be (or maybe just more profitable to the seller,) if some sort of eco-friendly, easy-to-open package was used.

The hose seemed to be of good quality. The end connection nuts are both metal, which is important to me for a shower hose. The hose developed a leak within 3 weeks of installation. The leak appeared at the natural bend of the hose when it is hanging in the mount. I have requested a refund and will be purchasing another brand.

High quality, flexible, attractive price. Love the length - it hangs to just above the faucet - great for washing the entire tub and wall! I picked this one over other brands - two things - 1) the pipe end can be wrench tightened 2) Copper insert ends have a lip to hold gasket perfectly in place.I see other's have leak issues after a few months - I will update if that occurs - elsewise be assured of no leaks.Thank you,Mrs. Nelson

Great hose. Long enough to spray every area in my shower and gives me enough room to wash my dog. Took about 10 seconds to install with no tools. Not a single leak and I did not have to use any Teflon tape. No leaks, no worries.

The product looks nice and is lightweight and worked great for 5 months. Then it started leaking at the connection crimps.

Looks like I am not alone - my item started leaking yesterday, under 3 months of light use, and hardly any bending. This should not happen and I will try to return the item and buy something else.

Excellent shower hose. All metal construction replaces the cheap, plastic, hose included with the  Waterpik NSE-753T HeightSelect Adjustable Height Hand Held Shower Head, Chrome . The new hose is the same length as the original that was included with the  Waterpik NSE-753T HeightSelect Adjustable Height Hand Held Shower Head, Chrome  so there is no issue there for me. I know the stainless steel hoses come in different lengths but this one suits my purposes. What made me want to repace the cheap original hose was that it got bent and kinked. Also, I stayed in a hotel recently that uses a stainless steel hose and I preferred it to the plastic hose.

I bought this to replace my old hose that had multiple leaks. This hose is a great length. I use it in the shower to better rinse my hair and body. I also use it to wash and rinse my small dog. The length of the hose is perfect for this. It is a very flexible hose and not stiff at all. It was very easy to install. I would recommend this shower hose!
