I loved this product. I wanted the few issues I had to be a fluke. It's cheap. Its available for automatic delivery. It doesn't contain any sweeteners.... but one thing it does contain is mold.(so they may want to adjust the calories or ingredients list accordingly. I mean its good to be accurate)I was ok with the caps that were screwed on so tight you needed pliers to remove them.(I'm a little female so that carries little weight when I say it... however I did conduct a test within my shop and had the biggest, most macho men have a go. The results were a 0% success rate. So I can say with a fair degree of certainty.... I work with a bunch of pansies.)But the second issue was the most concerning and sadly the most common. At first it was a few bottles with a little white stuff floating in them. Ok. Maybe that was a fluke... but the last batch I received was full of it. In every bottle. (And, no, none of them were expired.) So I was willing to give the brand one more shot... and today I found that black mold people have been complaining about.If you're going to order anyway (bc you're stubbornly cheap like I am) just know there seems to be ZERO quality control on their end and its best to check your order thoroughly before you make yourself sick.

We are a seltzer-based household. If we could convert our well to carbonated water, we would. My wife and I also enjoy caffeine, but we're not slaves to it, nor do we stick to one particular method of intake. Sometimes we're on a coffee kick. Sometimes it's tea or energy drinks. Sometimes we don't want it at all.Neither of us, however, are ever not stuck on seltzer.I recently learned of the caffeinated water that had started appearing on the market and tried a different brand on a whim a few weeks ago. My wife and I both liked it, but then I thought, "Wouldn't it be great if they had caffeinated seltzer? Surely if they have plain caffeinated water, you can buy plain caffeinated seltzer." The brand of water we bought didn't make such a product, but then I found Avitae and promptly placed my Prime order.After letting the shipment chill in the fridge for a few hours, I excitedly grabbed one and twisted the cap expecting to hear that refreshing hiss and see the bubbles of air begin rushing to the top of the water. Neither of these things happened. Then I tasted it. I was very disappointed.There are two big issues:1. Avitae Sparkling Water is very lightly carbonated. So light, that it tastes flat. I don't mind seltzers with smaller bubbles or lighter carbonation—think Pellegrino—but this should not be allowed to be called carbonated. If you handed this to me in a glass, I would've thought you poured me a seltzer that had been previously opened and had sat in the back of your fridge for a month.2. Unflavored Avitae Sparkling Water is decidedly not unflavored. It even says so on the label—citric acid and "natural flavor" appear on the ingredients list. It's got an odd sour taste to it, almost like the makers were trying to mimic the flavor of more aggressive carbonation by adding the citric acid. (Carbonating water normally creates carbonic acid, which gives seltzer that "bite" that people look for in carbonated beverages.)I will not be reordering this product because it's just not what it says it is on the package. It's not carbonated—at least by my standards—and it's not unflavored. The only reason I gave it two stars is because it is caffeinated as promised, so there's that at least.

Like the water but only able to drink 1/2 of the order. Will go to CVS instead and buy by the bottle. Very disappointed not to mention totally frustrated trying to open them

Sounds like an odd thing to say about ‘unflavored’ caffeinated water, but I couldn’t stand the taste. I normally drink Kick2O caffeine water, which tastes like normal bottled water, but they don’t sell sparkling, which I love.This has a strong aspirin/candy-ish flavor. I’ve had to dilute it (2/3 regular sparkling water, 1/3 caffeinated) to even stomach the flavor. You might like it, depending on your taste, but I can’t stand it.

After reading reviews about mold and such.. I don't even want to try it if it's expired. Kinda bummed, I really wanted to try it out as a substitute for my energy drinks.

Once you get over the sticker shock of the Avitae water and take the time to taste it, you'll see it is worth it. I was looking for a carbonated caffeinated beverage to replace the typical colas. I tried quite a few. I finally found Avitae and ended up trying all the flavors I could get. They're all great and as advertised. The lightly flavored ones have subtle flavors that do not overpower and are not syrupy. The unflavored tastes fine, with a light carbonation.I'm in the health care profession so a lot of people ask me about healthy alternatives, this will be one that I will add to my list of recommended products.

When I received this product nothing was out of the ordinary. When i got to the 5th or 6th bottle (expiration date is Oct-2019) right before I opened it, key word unopened, I noticed there was an unusual looking 'dust ball' in the water. I am not sure exactly what this is but, now they all have it. I gave Avitae every chance I could to solve it before writing a negative review but when I called their customer service I couldn't connect with anyone, I even tried all of the other departments and not one picked up the phone. This product is bad and so is the company.

Something is wrong with the packaging of this product because I cannot open more than half of the bottles in the case I received. I like the carbonation and caffeine in this drink, so it is very disappointing that I cannot enjoy half of the drinks I paid for. I sincerely hope Avitae rises to fix this problem because I would be a loyal customer if I could actually counting on being able to drink the water I buy from them.
