Got this for a Chevy Equinox that chips paint from the door edge if you just look at it. (Really. The doors do not get bumped in to other cars or garage walls....It just chips off.) This edging was easy to put on. I pushed it on with my fingers, and then took a length of rounded wood molding, and ran it up and down the edge to get the trim seated well. Worked great. Looks great. Very happy with it. Covered the chips, and will hopefully hang on and last! Would recommend. Oh - when cutting this, little flecks of metal will fall to the ground due to the design of this that allows it to bend and mold to a surface. I took a rolling magnet, and went over the ground to pick up all the little pieces.

Great product, very easy to install with minimum preparation. Product has a solid feel and look.While cutting can be done with scissors, it is best to use shears or snips. Provided instructions are clear and simple. Best to remove metal clip from the starter as it gives you more material to fit snuggly, then use rubber mallet to seat firmly to door edge, when reaching the end, cut a bit excess to remove the metal clip and so it can fit snuggly as well. Quality of material gives you the confidence that it will protect when needed. Well worth the cost. Looks great and gives a distinctive flair and finished look.

This item is similar to others in price but not length size. Some sellers sales this item in longer length. For installation is quite easy. I was able to install on 1 1/2 cars. It feels and looks very durable. Time will only tell. It’s too early to say. But, I do like it on my both of my cars. Will have to buy another other to finish the other car.

After a very disappointing episode with the oem door edge trim ordered and paid for I could never get proper fitting even by dealership shop personnel. But they would not refund me me cost so I scrapped them and ordered these instead. Should have been my first decision. Quality product, great appearance and minimal effort required to install.

I have this edge guard on the outside of all four doors of my two F-150 crewcabs, as well as a Subaru Outback. They save the door edges from garage walls, gas station posts, and anything else you might accidentally open the edge of your door into. Easy installation and it doesn't come off. One of the trucks has had it for 8 years! It's still protecting.
