Very Pretty
Set up was incredibly easy, all we had to do was plug it in and turn it on, and then I was able to sync it into the app and control the features.I'll say the cons first:The fading function seems linked to how dim the light is already, so if you set your color selections very low in the DIY section, the fading function makes it blink really fast instead of fading in and out slowly, since the light is already dim. On full brightness, it does fade slower but it's still a bit fast. I wish there was a way to control the speed of that more.I was also hoping to be able to control the speed of the nebula's rotation, but as of right now I haven't been able to do that. On my old projector you could make the waves rotate very fast or hardly move at all.I do like the nebula look also, but I find it slightly less captivating than some of the ones that rotate in patterns. I understand some people don't like those though, because they can often lag and jitter when changing shape. This one has a very natural look which my fiancé loves. The lasers, at their lowest setting, are still pretty bright unfortunately. Also, not really a con for me, but unlike a lot of others available on amazon, it does not have a speaker. I never used the speaker on mine but if you are looking for one that can play music, you'll have to look elsewhere.Pros:I love the DIY setting through the app, I was disappointed at first in seeing that the dimmest setting is still pretty bright, but if you make your own setting you can set all the colors incredibly low so that they're comfortably dim. Red, like my old projector, is still the dimmest so I used only that for sleep. Even blue or green on %1 saturation was unfortunately kinda bright, but maybe I'm sensitive. The device itself feels much sturdier than my previous one, no unnecessary pieces or buttons attached, it's very simple and I think ideal for clumsy children (or adults like myself.)I think I might've read some reviews talking about the device's noise, but I didn't hear anything.I can't comment on the timer function because I didn't use it. I prefer just having it on all night and turning it off whenever I wake up. I usually get up several times a night so I prefer being able to see.Like I said, it's very pretty and realistic looking (minus the laser green stars, still pretty, just unrealistic lol) and it makes for a very comfortable and calming sensory space. I would recommend it for people who are autistic/ have ADHD and enjoy visual sensory input.

Good but not great
The media could not be loaded. So overall I would say I'm happy with this product. A few things to note for people considering to buy though. First thing is the spread is not great, if you're leaving it close by or pointing straight up, the image is only about 10ft In radius, so not ideal for lighting up the whole ceiling of even a small apartment living room like mine. In order to get more spread you'll want to leave it kind of far away, on the ground or very close to it, pointing up at an angle. The benefit of this is you'll cover much more of your ceiling, the con is the image on the further distance is quite dim and vague and underwhelming. Also placing it in an area like this, it might be hard to find a place that fits these requirements without also having it in a place where if someone gets up they will block and cast a huge shadow of themselves onto the ceiling. The colors and bright and butiful although maybe not as saturated as seen in the video. The laser stars are an appreciated touch, but depending on where you put the device, it might shine into your eyes every now and then. I would have also enjoyed it more if there were different color or size options of the stars, but you can still reduce or turn of the number of stars. The patterns are a little lacking, basically you get red green and blue, and these colors have their own area in the projector so by turning off green for example, blue and red do not illuminate in its place on the ceiling, leaving you with a portion that has stars but no real color. I like that you can customize the colors a little but again, removing or reducing colors won't mean the colors you chose will take its place, and you'll just be left with a smaller area of nebula.I would have also enjoyed it if you could control the speed of which it rotates and morphs the nebula, however you can't and can only choose whether it rotates or doesn't rotate. I would have also enjoyed some aurora patterns besides the nebula patterns. On the flip side, Bluetooth connection is a breeze, you can change the brightness, set an auto off timer, customize and create your own color combinations that get saved, and the machine is next to completely silent.I don't regret this at all, but it does have some drawbacks for the price it is listed at, as competing devices on Amazon range from 20-40 bucks, and this is 50.
